Thank you for developing a useful plugin that improves website’s security.

I have a feature suggestion and two questions.

    1) I think your plugin would be even better if you added a few whitelists of common bots that can be allowed. One whitelist, for example, would be dedicated to social media sites. I think that would be a great addition. Likewise, another whitelist would be dedicated to analytics sites like GTmetrix. The whitelist feature would be a great addition because currently it takes a significant amount of time to give multiple bots access. So I think built-in whitelists would help every user save time by quickly finding similar bots grouped into whitelists. Will you add this feature in 2021?

    2) Would your plugin work well with a CDN?

    3) Can your plugin harm in any way a website that serves ads to its visitors, such as by causing unintended consequences by blocking ad bots or in some other way? And have you received complaints of that kind?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the suggestion.
    The plugin has a whitelist.
    Go to
Dashboard => Stop Bad Bots => Settingd => Whitelist

    We have no complaints.

I suggest you install the free version and run a test. You can keep the plugin in test mode.
Settings page, General Settings => Block all Bots included at Bad Bots Table?

    Cheers,
    Bill
