Hi,

In the ‘Mail’ tab, ‘From’ field, I have the following code:
[your-name] <[your-email]>

The error message reads:
This email address does not belong to the same domain as the site.

My domain is: odedbenami.com
My email is: [email protected]

I don’t understand were’s the problem.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

~ Oded

• The plugin is looking out for you, and trying to keep your form DMARC-compliant. This is explained in the Best Practice section of the plugin’s docs. If you have the “from” field set as you do, some servers will interpret the email to be spam and discard it. You’ll be left wondering why you never receive email from your contact form. If you set the “from” email to be from the same domain as your site, and add the user’s email as the “reply-to” email in the Additional Headers section, you can solve this problem.

First, use an email forwarder or account for your site in the “from” settings as follows:

[your-name] <[[email protected]]>

Next, in the Additional Headers section of your form, you should have this:

Reply-To: [your-email]

I changed the ‘From’ field to:
[your-name] <[[email protected]]>
and got the following message: This field has syntax errors.

Oops! Sorry! It should be:

[your-name] <[email protected]>

The square brackets are only needed if you’re using a field from the email.

Much appreciated.
Thank you.

You’re welcome. I’m glad you got it working.

I also had the mistake, but the configuration should be no problem
