1 click vs. upload myself

    Are there any Benefits if I download and install WP from scratch, compared to using my hosts 1 click install service?
    (I know how to use both, but not sure what the difference is)

    The only benefit I can think of is that we can guarantee that downloading and manually installing WordPress will work. This is because we have no control over those third-party installers. With that said, we rarely hear about issues with them.

    I had a hard time googling it.

    I would suggest one click is faster so it would be better option.However you may also go with manual uploading. As per my experience I would prefer one click setup easily and faster.
