1.8.6 > 1.8.7 Puts emails in que but does not send

  • upgrading from 1.8.6 to 1.8.7 emails stop being sent.

    Curiously they are added to the queue, with (No Subject).. and then are added again each time the CRON runs. 9,000 emails in the queue before I noticed.

    Downgrading to v1.8.6 and everything returned to normal

    We have not received similar reports so far with a couple of hundreds of installations already on the new version 1.8.7.

    But we take this of course seriously and want to get to the root cause behind it.
