I updated my Twenty20 Image Before-After plugin to 1.7.4 and I noticed that it said it “Fixed the Elementor Widget”. However, when I try to preview a post I am preparing it creates and error stating “Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class “Elementor\Plugin” not found” – I do not use Elementor. When I rollback to 1.7.3 the post preview works fine. Thanks for your help.

Here is the full error message:

  • Same issue, I do not use eliminator and v1.7.3 was working OK, site updated plugin to v1.7.4 and now a constant stream of ” Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class “Elementor\Plugin” not found” messages in the error log.

Is there a d/l for 1.7.3 somewhere so could roll back?

I don’t know if there is download somewhere to get 1.7.3. I used a free plugin call “WP Rollback” that allows you to rollback plugins, theme updates etc. very easily.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. We’ve identified the issue and have released a new version 1.7.5 that fixes the unintended dependency on Elementor for users who do not have it installed.

Please update to version 1.7.5, and the error should be resolved. We appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your continued support.

Thanks for the rollback plugin hint!

Updated to 1.7.5 and so far no new errors, hopefully fixed. Thanks!
