    Hi,

    Since 1.7.1 pre-release some orders are beeing captured where payment intent should be authorize.
    I’m unable to identify at this time why some orders and not all.

    Hi @thibotus01,

    This is not a behavior we could observe anywhere else so far.
    Are you seeing any similarities between affected orders? For example, are these all orders with only virtual products?
    Could you please share with us your latest log files? Also, the PayPal MTS usually has a more detailed breakdown of which calls have been sent at which time if you can provide the respective debug IDs. It would be interesting to know whether the payment was captured right away or if maybe the capture called happened automatically shortly after the authorization as I’m not sure how this would look like in the log.
    This shouldn’t happen, of course, so we’d be glad to look into this further, preferably if you could maybe send us your logs via private support ticket.

    Hi,

    All orders are physical products.
    I noticed something similar to orders with captured payment. They all have an express shipping method selected from the customer.

    And all Authorized orders have free shipping.

    Does this help? If not, I’ll try to send you log.
