I have this message in my Stats.

IS Versions: SQLite: 3.37.2 php: 8.0.28 Plugin: 1.2.3 igbinary: unavailable.

Is “Plugin: 1.2.3 igbinary: unavailable.’ needed?

I did install sudo apt-get install -y php-igbinary, but this message did not go away.

That display line shows the versions of SQLite, php, and the plugin you’re running. PHP’s igbinary extension doesn’t have a version, so I just show “available” or “unavailable” for it. And, as you have observed, it’s missing on some servers.

The plugin works correctly without it. With it, the SQLite files are smaller because it stores php data more efficiently. Smaller is faster.

After you did the sudo apt install, did you do sudo apachectl restart? Or bounce (reboot) your server? I install and remove it on my test systems (Ubuntu 20 and 22) using apt. (I’m not sure how I can help you further with that problem.)

Lol. Thanks for your message. My bad. I forgot to restart my http server. All well now. Many thanks.
