I’m curious how did you come up with that number?
Does it send usage statistics? If yes can it be disabled?

    Thanks.

  • Hi @jojojijijojo, could you please elaborate on what exactly you are referring to with this?

@jojojijijojo – Yes we have usage tracking, but it is optin only, and actually doesn’t exist in the current version and next version as we are transitioning away from using Freemius and back to our own in dash optin directly.

So that 1.1b popups viewed number is also very outdated due to use no longer sending telemetry data.

So yes you can opt out by not opting in when the new version with it comes out.

It helps us greatly though finding what plugins & themes are most likely to be used with our plugins so we can try to ensure compatibility and find new integrations for our users.

Other than PHP/WP version info, theme & active plugins the only other thing we send is an anonymized token so we can tell how many unique sites are opted in along with number of popups and total popup views.

Pretty standard these days though and explicitly optin only.

Hope that helps. If your issue is resolved please take a moment to rate and review the plugin or support.
