    Hello,

After updating to 1.0.81 on my site, most of the product pages are not working. The browser throws the error: too many redirections.

I saw in the changelog that a fix on product pages was implemented for translatepress, but apparently, this fix broke the compatibility with WPML. The changelog specifies it works for the case when “Remove Product Base” is enabled, which is also my case.

After testing in staging where the issue was, I rolled back to 1.0.80 and everything works fine.

    Thanks.

    Hello @juanmafortes,

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We couldn’t reproduce this issue on our setup. We checked it with
Different languages in directories & Language names were added as parameter settings. Here is a screencast:

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins, themes, and WordPress (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

Theme is GeneratePress, but I also switched in my staging site to Twenty Twenty One and the issue was still there. I also disabled ALL plugins except WooCommerce and WPML. If I deactivate RankMath, product pages work (and URL structure changes).

If I activate rankmath, most product pages have this redirection problem. It is weird tho that some do work (the ones with only one category like in your screencast). The ones throwing an error are 2-3 categories deep. domain/en/cat1/cat2/cat3/product

However, i do not have latest woocommerce version. I am using 5.9.0. And I have WordPress 5.8.3, sorry for skipping this in my original post.

    Additional info:
    – I do not use WPML SEO extension. I tried installing it and it makes no difference anyway.
    – Latest edit on the .htaccess file was ~12 days ago, so no plugin is interfering there making new redirections on the go or anything similar.
