0% interest calculation

  • My client wants to offer a 0% interest rate for 6 to 12 months but the calculator doesn’t allow 0% financing. The client wants them to easily see from the site what their payments would be. Is there a work around?

    Not a particularly easy one. The calculator comes with all source code, however, and a programmer could make a modification for you. The reason why it does not allow a 0% interest rate is because 0 indicates to this plugin that the value needs to be calculated. That lets the plugin calculate loan amount, interest rate, term or payment amount, The user provides 3 values and 0 for the fourth.

    A program could disable calculating the interest rate.
