I’d be grateful for some assistance please.

Since updating WC to version 3.4 the digital downloads we’re selling aren’t being presented to customers correctly for download as they’re 0 byte file size. Example screen capture below.

This is happening on two of our sites that have both been running WC for years without any major issues. All themes and plugins on these sites are up to date.

I rolled back to WC version 3.3.5 and the problem was resolved.

    Regards, Ash

Hi @ashwhitney – are you by any chance using Amazon S3 for this? It’s an issue that has already been reported to our developers, if that’s the case.

    Hello Job.

Thanks for your reply. No, we’re not using Amazon S3, but are hosting the downloadable files on our own hosting account on a different domain to the WooCommerce site we’re running – which we’ve been doing for years without an issue.

    Hi @ashwhitney,

Thanks for letting us know. After testing this, I was able to replicate the problem and I’ve made a bug report for the issue here:

    Thanks again,

Just a quick note to say that the issue has since been fixed and it will be available in the next version of WooCommerce ??

when will that be released? So i know whether to rollback now or not.

@buckneri – it’s not 100% sure yet, but it looks like it’s likely going to be today or tomorrow.
