How do you know that the error wasn’t yours? Why didn’t you try to contact the plugin’s author about this by posting a topic in the plugin’s support forum?

A review that actually offered something of use to other users and the plugin’s author. Did you try reading the articles as the links posted above.

I was looking for a plugin that show comment counts. This one does not, you just waste time.

Actually, you need only to edit CSS to show the count. No plugin needed.
