Howdy friends! Today’s GigPress release features several improvements submitted by folks like you in the community. We’ve also tested GigPress with WordPress 5.4 to make sure everything plays nicely together.
Speaking of community contributions, please feel free to chip in! GigPress is open source and the GitHub repo is publicly accessible.So, if you spot an issue or have a wild idea to make things more rocking’ we’d love check it out as a pull request.
This is a minor release that should be smooth sailing when updating. That said, it’s always a good idea to?backup?your site and test changes in a?development environment?before installing this on your live site, as you would with any other WordPress update.
Here are the detailed changes included in this release:
- Fix – Clean up typos in readme and code comments. (props @passoniate)
- Fix – Resolve deprecated PHP notices in PHP 7.4 when accessing array offsets. (props @leecollings)
- Tweak – Added options to show / hide the Google Calendar and iCalendar export links
- Tweak – Added
gigpress_related_post_entries
filter to allow customizing the related post entries (props @thomasdebruin)
Please update safely as you would with any other WordPress, theme or plugin update and be sure to let us know if you run into any other issues.
