? wp_remote_get() failed – error for hydration.gr domain

    the site is under development (admin access only) and the error comes from the woocommerce check page: https://www.hydration.gr/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-status

    all plugins from www.remarpro.com can get downloaded & updated but from woothemes/woocommerce nope…

    hi,

    i ve made 2 more wp/woo installations in different hosting providers and keep getting the same error:

    “? wp_remote_get() failed. The WooCommerce plugin updater won’t work with your server. Contact your hosting provider. Status code: 500”

    the domains tested so far are that get this error are:

    hydration.gr
    hydrationcosmetics.gr
    hydrationcosmetics.com

    in these domains all plugins from www.remarpro.com get downloaded/updated as they should – but any plugin from any other server does not (woothemes, swiftideas etc)
    all other installations (with different domain names) in the same servers work fine
    so, there must be a bug in wp_remote_get() script related to domains that include the term “hydration”…

    i am unable to find any other explanation / resolution

    so i am asking for your support on this matter
