[?lg_folder folder= not working

I’ve got the root gallery displaying fine but I want to have a page displaying all the pics in a folder but it’s not working…
[?lg_folder folder=”mikes-photography”]it simply displays the shortcode…Is it simply because I’m using a newer version of WP?
