How to sort products in Woocommerce so that products without a price or with a price of 0 are displayed at the end of the list?
If I understand correctly, you would like to display products without a price, or with a price of 0 at the end of the products list on the front end of the site, is this correct?
By default, a product that does not have a price cannot be added to the cart and will display with a Read more button instead of the standard Add to cart button.
So if you are wanting these products to be added to the cart for purchase, they would need a price, even if this is set to 0 for free products.
If you would like to display the products with a set price of 0 at the end of the products list, you can achieve this by navigating to Appearance → Customize → WooCommerce → Product Catalog and set the Default product sorting option to Sort by price (desc), like so:
Thank you for reaching back, clarifying things further!
First, apologies for the delay. We have seen a recent influx of tickets and are currently working through a backlog.
You need to display products without a price and for zero in the product category at the end of the list + those with a price from cheaper to more expensive.
That is, at first, to go from cheap to expensive, and at the end without a price and with a price of 0
For custom sorting the products at your site (that is, those with a price in ascending order, with products priced 0 or without a price at the end), feel free to check out the hook at this document; and customize it as needed.
I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know. We’re happy to help.
