Hi, I tried to install the Elementor plugin via WordPress and after each download it knocks out an error:
Installation failed: Failed to copy file. elementor / assets / css / admin-rtl.min.css

    How to solve this problem?

  • @pavlo1 we have seen this issue time to time with other plugins as well.

There is probably an issue with your WordPress installation. It can be related to hosting file permission issue. In this case first check with your hosting provider and make sure the file permissions are correct and also make sure there is enough space available on your hosting provider’s end.

    Hi,

This usually happens when some files/folders lack permission for copying.

In this case, you can try deleting the complete plugin from the WordPress backend and then upload it again.

Sometimes the plugin doesn’t delete from the WordPress backend too because of permission issues,

In that case, you have to log in to your cPanel and fix the permissions for all the WordPress folders or manually upload the plugin using File Manager or FTP.

I did everything as shown in the post: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-fix-file-and-folder-permissions-error-in-wordpress/
To help FileZilla and after I started the process of setting permissions on files for folders and subfolders, everything was not good, but the connection with the File Manager with my web host lost connection and did not load , but at the same time the site works, and to the end there is no File Manager

    What could be the reason?

You should be consulted with the Hosting provider since we need to know what exactly is happening on the backend.
