Hello,

We have confirmed that there are some issues with the recent 4.4.0.1 release of The Events Calendar and Event Tickets that cause fatal error messages on some sites.

Thus far we have identified a pattern where the fatal errors only arise on sites that are running on Windows server software.

Our developers are working hard to identify the specific problem and we are hoping to publish an update that addresses this problem as soon as possible.

If you have issues specifically related to this and would like to report them, please do so here instead of making a new thread in the forums so that we can more effectively coordinate our communications with you about the issues.

I just tried installing on a windows server and got this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 65488 bytes) in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\wp-content\plugins\the-events-calendar\common\vendor\lucatume\di52\src\tad\DI52\Bindings\Resolver.php on line 119

Why haven’t you taken this off the update schedule until it’s fixed! I’ve just spent 90 minutes fixing my site after your update crashed it & locked me out!

Ok… so now what? I’ve tried increasing memory limit, etc. nothing works. Can’t even activate the plugin. Just sit and wait?

Seems like this would have been fixed already! Will not be renewing by Pro account. Crashed many of sites but no one seems to care.

Hi Guys

How is it going?

I can not install TEC on my local apache / xxamp server

So I can not install TEC PRO either which I bought last week.

I’ll need a refund most likely as I can not use PRO at all.

I am another victim. Installing the calendar crashed my entire WordPress installation. I cannot even get into the control panel so I can uninstall.

How can I get my control panel back? The error I am getting is:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tribe__Settings_Manager::add() in D:\[…]\plugins\the-events-calendar\common\src\Tribe\Main.php on line 237
