• The smart quotes and apostrophes that WP is generating are messing up a WAP feed of my site; I’m getting this :
    …now being called “Palm OS Garnet”,
    …which spends most of its’ time…
    WP site
    https://borkbork.info
    wap version
    https://winksite.com/tkarches/borkbork/
    I am not copying from a Word doc, so the smart quotes are not getting in that way. Other sites on winksite.com are displaying “dumb” quotes, so I’m pretty sure it’s choking on the feed of my site
    Is there any way to turn off the output of smart quotes globally while retaining HTML formatting?
    Thanks,
    Tom

    Replying to my own post….the problem did not show up in the last post as the forum code interpreted the ascii code for the smart quotes. I’ll try again, enclose in pre tags…
    <pre>

    …most of its’ time in my…
    </pre>

    Remove the texturize filter line at the end of vars.php if you don’t want this to happen.
