• Yesterday I realized it had been about a month since I had installed the latest build of WP. MISTAKE. I should have stuck with my old build. My journal got totally jacked because of the new system of storing the templates. I’ve been hunched over the computer for the past 24 hours trying to get everything lined out again. I’ll be waiting for a final version before doing THAT again. But that is semi-besides the point.

I notice that my images that I posted in my journal entries aren’t showing up anymore. And I think they were before. Is there an option somewhere to turn this back on? Some of my entries are just photos – so now there’s NOTHING there.

Help would be appreciated, this has probably been posted about before – but I couldn’t find anything in search.

  • Check that you are posting the_content and not the_excerpt to archive pages. That’s the usual cause of no images.

Looking at the source for some of your posts in the Photos category shows an empty post content area. What are you using to generate the links?

Also, during upgrade, a new site theme will be created from your existing templates if your wp-content/themes directory is writable. That’s not useful to you now that you’ve done all the work; I mention it as an FYI for others upgrading to a nightly.

Thanks Podz! I actually just came back to say that I found it! That was the issue. I’ve only been using WP for about 2 months so I’m still getting familiar with the codes. Sometimes I’m still in an MT state of mind.

I have the same problem – how do I do this?
