Zlib Output Compression Enabled!
PHP is compressing the data sent to the visitors of your site. Disabling this is recommended as the plugin caches the compressed output once instead of compressing the same page over and over again. Also see #21 in the Troubleshooting section. See this page for instructions on modifying your php.ini.

so , to disable zlib.output_compression ,then , I go to “MultiPHP INI Editor” from cpanel and disable that . After disable , my website is out . Even I don’t go to the wordpress wp-admin page . it shows just blank white screen .
So , I again enable this . but the problem is that , after enable zlib.output_compression again , the problem is not fix . Still now it shows just blank white screen . please help me . its urgent .
Either the PHP configuration, web server configuration or a script in the WordPress installation has zlib.output_compression enabled.
Why W3TC doesn’t like zlib.output_compression enabled?
Not sure if this is caused by zlib.output_compression – my website’s frontend speed seemed to have improved after zlib.output_compression enabled but the Dashboard is quite slow.
I’ve getting a warning about zlib.output_compression being enabled, but I can’t figure out which plug-in is using / enabling it.
I tried to deactivate zlib.output_compression via .htaccess, and that resulted in a server 500 error. So no luck there either.
Here’s the warning:
Either the PHP configuration, web server configuration or a script in the WordPress installation has zlib.output_compression enabled.
Please locate and disable this setting to ensure proper HTTP compression behavior.
Any idea how to fix this? I know I could easily just dismiss the message, but I’d rather have this fixed.
I’m running on Plesk and added zlib.output_compression = On into the plesk php configurator. If i run a phpinfo check, it shows me the compression is on, but my WP page stays white. If i remove the line again, the comression is off, but i can see my page again.
mod_deflate is running on my server, but if i add the deflate infos into the htaccess it happens nothing
anyone knows how to fix that?
I just tried W3 Total Cache, but the plugin gives me this message:
“Either the PHP configuration, web server configuration or a script in the WordPress installation has zlib.output_compression enabled.
Please locate and disable this setting to ensure proper HTTP compression behaviour.”
Now, I honestly don’t know very much about caching, and nothing more about Zlib, than it is compression between the server and the browser making stuff speed up. Thought and hoped Caching would be rather easy just turning on, and getting a quicker site!
I’ve contacted my web hotel, and they won’t turn Zlib off. They tell me that I need their VPS service to do that. So, I’m wondering:
1) Do Zlib and W3 Total Cache interfere with each other, or can/should I still run W3 Total Cache? Are there some specific setting I should use then?
2) Are they actually right? I’ve seen some forum threads discuss how to do this in the different php.ini fond in the wp catalogs ( /wp-admin/ – /wp-content/ – /wp-includes/ ). This makes me wonder if they know what they are talking about… But who am I to tell, that’s why I’m asking!
3) I would be glad if someone could give me some more info about Zlib, since I haven’t found very much details about it on Google. Should I be happy with it? Is it just as good as W3 Total Cache, or should I try to argue my web hotel about them turning Zlib off?
Cheers!

If I activate nextgen gallery, json api (https://wp-api.org/) is not working. It just gives blank page.
If I deactivate nextgen gallery the json apis are displaying correctly.
May I know if this is a bug with nggallery or if there are any solution other than making zlib.output_compression off

in the

element, but when I try to access that page, I get a 500 server error.
If I look in the filesystem, that default.include.css file is not present. When I remove the stylesheet from the minify settings, the site goes back to normal.
It appears that W3 Total Cache is working perfectly for almost everything else on the site, but I cannot get this to work for the life of me. Any tips you can provide are appreciated.
Thank you.
