I have a large number of recipes that we’re originally published using ZipList and Yumprint’s Recipe Card.

I imported them into WP Recipe Maker according to the instructions. Some have worked but the majority of Recipe Card and 3 of the Ziplist are now showing up as ‘no parent found’.

I’ve tried the ‘Find Parent Posts’ and ‘Run Health Check’ buttons a couple of times but it hasn’t worked.

Is there a way of perhaps doing it manually?

After almost 9 years, and a migration from Blogger, my media usage was quite messed up with lots of unreferenced images (which were only taking up space and making backups unnecessarily big). Media Cleaner worked mostly out of the box, except for the fact that it didn’t handle an old plugin that I use to format my recipes (ZipList). I contacted support and Jordy got in touch promptly by saying he needed a few more users with the same request before he could add this feature, but he also said that if I knew how to add it myself, he would have considered taking it. So I did, as best as I could not knowing the codebase. Jordy refactored my hack and promptly added official support for ZipList. Outstanding customer relation and open-source approach!

Can ZipList Recipe be supported by Pro?

Hello,

The images used in ZipList recipes are detected as unused. I know ZipList is an old plugin which hasn’t been updated in a long time, but it still works for me and I know I have lots of unused images there. Would Media Cleaner Pro detect whether images are used in ZipList recipes? Please see the provided post as an example.

HELP – my wordpress just updated with content blocks and the recipe plugin I was using, ZipList, is no longer functioning! I need a solution fast. How would I be able to use your plugin with my existing recipes?

Plug-In not working with WP 5.0

When I add content to the recipe plugin in a Classic block in a new post and click “Add Recipe” the content entry box goes away, but my recipe disappears as well and was not saved. I have only had this problem since the automatic upgrade.

Ziplist recipes swapping between posts

We’ve had a number of instances where two ZipList recipes will swap between two posts. For instance the Chicken Kiev Ziplist recipe will show up on the Chocolate Cake post. And the Chocolate Cake post will display the Chicken Kiev Ziplist recipe. We’ve tried to narrow down any other correlations (I.e. posted on the same day, etc), but haven’t come up with any. We have currently fixed any instances of this, but it’s happening on posts that we have not edited since. I could see where something could cause a mixup on newly edited posts, but that is not the case. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If there’s any other troubleshooting I can do to narrow down the potential causes, please let me know.

PHP Errors

I converted from Ziplist, and I’m seeing PHP errors in some recipes (that were fine in Ziplist). I also get PHP errors when trying to edit those recipes.

I have the settings to show Rating, and I gave it 5 stars when creating the blog post. The rating shows up in Google and reflects 1 review. But the rating does not show up on the published post so others can rate it. What am I doing wrong? Here’s the post:

Font Size in ZipList Recipe Plugin

I imagine this should be relatively straightforward to change but I can’t figure it out…

I’m trying to change the font size of my recipes in the ziplist recipe plugin display to match the rest of the text in my blog posts. Currently the text is larger than I’d like to be.

Fatal Error, Function Query

I get this message now after the week long update of WP, WooCommerce and many other plugins. I’m not sure how to tackle this issue. I notice it only occurs when I have WooCommerce active. Since Commerce is the point of my site, is there a work around for this challange??
