I have been using this for over 3 years and have it on several websites. YouTube and WordPress out of the box just do not display correctly. This plugin has a paid version that is even better and allows you to customize playlist and how it displays. There are many settings. If you get the paid service these guys answer you overnight or immediately. Could not be happier with this plugin. In the 10 years I have been doing WordPress I have not found any other plugin that is as consistent and well put together as this one. Love it and you will too!

Vimeo Video Embedding/Inserting

How do I embed videos from Vimeo in my www.remarpro.com posts? I can’t seem to find by means of right clicking or otherwise to get the embed code. Can I just insert the URL into the add media section of the dashboard process and the video will appear. I am not with my machine now but I am on a friend’s older PC. How is the vimeo embedding process supposed to work so you can add videos, post the blog article and then see it online on your blog? Where is the embed link, if any? Am I overlooking something?

Youtube Audio Silent on Smart Phones?

I have an eCommerce website at slingerstraps.com (guitar straps) using the TwentyEleven template. The 2 videos on the homepage play fine on PC’s and tablets. For some reason they don’t play the audio on smart phones unless a headset is plugged in? The 2 videos on the “Artist Video” page will only play correctly if the phone is in Horizontal/ Full Screen mode? It’s not a phone setting issue as I’ve tried it on many phones. Does anyone know if there is a setting or a plug in that can fix these issues? Thanks for your time!

Youtube Embedding Plugin

Hi,

I’ve been attempting to find a youtube embedding plugin that would include the video inside the post. What do I mean? nowadays, when you embed a video, it’s kinda floating in place. if you make the embed player bigger then the area of your post, it will glitch out going over other areas of the website. While having a theme that runs on pixels is not smart, that’s what I have right now… and I am trying to make the embedded player to “follow the rules” the text of the post complies to… so it doesn’t stick out, and if the margins of the post are too small for it, it would adjust.

any chance there’s a plugin that can recognize this?

Embedded soundcloud, youtube, vimeo links don't show when post is published

Hey all!

Hope all is well!

I have seen this topic on this forum being presented many times yet I cannot seem to find a reasonable solution.

Everything used to work well back then whenever I posted a youtube link or soundcloud into my posts. They would show up and play normally. I also use the Viper video plugin to embed videos. I do it manually for soundcloud as I copy and paste the embed link into my HTML post.

Suddenly, it doesn’t work. Why?

Can someone explain this to me and how I can resolve it?

Also, I am running WordPress through my GoDaddy hosted website www.awholenuworld.com

EDIT: I figured if I got more specific that it would help the reader to support me. The idea is that when I post these posts, there is an empty space with the correct dimensions of the embedded object; thus, this means that wordpress recognizes the code but for some reason does not show me the video or music player or whatever I am embedding. Does this make sense?

I am using IE8 and use WP Theme Suffusion.
And I think I read every FAQs and followed instructions for the plug-in. I have proper code in the header.php. I have auto embed enabled.
I have the latest flash.

However, it shows only links, not the video like the following.

Help please.

Flash Uploader Not Working Correctly

I recently setup a new blog on WP 2.6. Everything worked great until I upgraded to 2.6.1. Now the Flash Uploader doesn’t work: I get errors when uploading photos and when I try to embed YouTube videos, the embed code gets translated wrong only the code shows up, not the video. If I switch to the HTML view in the editor and paste the embed code into that window, the video will display right.

I read through the sticky at the top of the forum, but nothing I have tried has worked. I’ve tried different images of various sizes, but none of them upload correctly. I also cleared my browser cache several times. I doubt my Flash is up to date, but the image uploader worked great until I updated WP, so I doubt thats the cause of my issue. I want to try reinstalling WP, but my web host doesn’t have an easy way to do this though their web interface, so I’ll have to create a support ticket with them to get it reinstalled. Does anyone have any other suggestions for getting this fixed? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
