Hi,

I am having a problem with the youTube Gallery from YotuWP. The playlist and cookies are getting blocked by complianz, but the consent banner and preview image are not showing.

I would be happy to get help with this.

Amazing support and working perfectly

I have YouTube galleries from YotuWP embedded in my site, which didn’t get blocked by the cookie banners I tried. The support team modified the code for me until it is now working perfectly, not setting any cookies from the YouTube API before consent. I am using the free version and still I got the support. The setup is also easy. Great plugin.

Video Gallery YotuWP not blocked

Hi,

I embed youtube videos with the Video Gallery plugin from YotuWP. The videos are not getting blocked. My other youtube videos, which I embedded differently are getting blocked. I tried to wrap the content with the consent short code (https://complianz.io/wrapping-content-in-consent-shortcodes/), but with this the content will not load after after clicking the link.

Could you help with this?

Yotuwp breaks my website every after 1 or 2 days

I am having issue with the yotuwp plugin that it breaks my website every other day although I have bought the plugin but when the website break my license key also inactive so i need to activate the license in order to restate the website in working condition this is happening every other day.

I purchased a pro license, and despite it being valid, I keep getting error messages that show up ON MY FRONT END, and when I check my dashboard, it says License Expired. I enter the EXACT same license key, and it works for a day or two before I get the same errors again, making this plug-in absolutely unusable. I’ve tried contacting the developer through support TWICE and got no reply at all.

AVOID AT ALL COST.

Bug – “Quota exceeded” error on a non-public site

We have a site hidden behind a Coming Soon page, not available to the public, with maybe two people looking at it. And yet we are seeing the error “The request cannot be completed because you have exceeded your quota.”

As other people have reported, the suggested fix of changing the cache settings does not work.

Adding a YouTube video directly into the page works fine, showing that the quota is not the actual issue.

We’re using the most current version of YoTuWP, 1.3.4.5.

What is the solution?

I’ve seen your reply to others with this problem:

“For the problem, it related to the quota of request for your account.
Because, Google allows for 50000 request per month/per user.
So seem your website has high traffic, that is awesome!

Solution:
I put the cache function on plugin to reduce request to youtube server – helps you get out of quota limitation. Simple, just go to Cache tab on my plugin setting and turn on it. You can set timeout cache is 1 day.”

… However, this doesn’t seem right. One person you said that to explained they had a test site, with only a couple views a day! I know there’s no way we’re getting 50000 requests either per month. So something’s not right.

We do have the cache set up as you say.

Please look into this problem further, it’s probably a coding issue in the plugin. Please let me know what we can do to get it working again.

Youtube API – IP set correctly, but plugin not working

We migrated our website to a new host, and now I can’t get YotuWP to work. We have the new IP address correctly entered in the Youtube API, and all the settings there are as recommended by your documentation. But on the video page of the website, your plugin posts a message: “The calling IP address 209.17.114.78 does not match the IP restrictions configured on the API key.”

However, that is NOT the new IP address, and we DO have the correct IP configured in the Youtube API. I have entered the correct API key into the plugin. I’ve deleted and disabled the YotuWP cache, and deleted the website cache as well. But you plugin keeps looking for the wrong IP, it seems.

What can I do?
