I had to roll back to a previous version (2.0.26) because the latest version of this plugin (3.0.0) adds the meta tag “no-index, no-follow” for all posts (yes, not only the custom post types of type podcast, all posts on the site!).

And like other users, it also breaks the backend, making it impossible to upload new podcasts. Please test before updating the plugin.

I am using bbpress and Yoast seo plugin on my website https://askprob.com/forums/topic/my-netgear-router-is-flashing-orange-how-to-fix/.

whenever google is crawling my website it is giving me missing field “mainentity”. I have chosen QA page schema Markup.

Also, I have a question, which schema markup type should I select for Reply.

Weird Issue on One Site with Yoast in Editor Scroll Not Working

I’m using free version of Yoast on my latest site until I can get another license at the start of the new month. I am having an issue on that site only. You know how you can scroll down to get to the Yoast settings while working on a post inside the WP editor? For some reason, there is now a grab bar, and I am having to adjust that to get to Yoast while working on a post. It’s like two different parts now. I’ve checked plugin, adjusted settings, Googled etc and cannot figure out what is going on. It is annoying to have to use that grab bar to get to yoast. Any ideas? Everything has been updated.

I’m experiencing an issue with the Yoast SEO plugin in the WordPress post editor. In the “Edit” view of all posts, the Yoast SEO section displays the following error:

“URL is not a constructor”

This error seems to appear consistently across all posts, and I’m unable to proceed with optimizations or edits in the Yoast section.

Here are some details about my setup:

Yoast SEO Version: 23.8
WordPress Version: 6.5.5
PHP Version: 7.4

I’ve tried clearing all caches (browser, site, and server-side) as well as disabling any caching plugins, but the issue persists.

Has anyone encountered this issue before or have any suggestions for a fix?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Problem with Sitemap

Good morning everyone,
I was checking why my site is no longer receiving visits and is actually not indexed!
Yoast is configured correctly, as is the sitemap, but it is not updating.
Search Console tells me “Temporary Sitemap Error”
I also notice that if I access my sitemap, some links to posts or pages are light gray, others with black font.
I don’t understand what happened

Yoast Schema Plugin

Hello,

I am currently using Yoast SEO on my WordPress site [https://surreyairheatingandcooling.com.au/], and I’ve noticed an issue with the schema markup that is being generated. Specifically, the schema generated for my Local Business and Review sections contains incorrect information, such as outdated or incorrect details that I cannot edit.

Additionally, I am using the Schema Pro plugin, generating similar schema data, which seems to create several instances of the same schema type. Because of this, I would like to either:

Disable Yoast’s Schema Markup Generation entirely to avoid conflicts, or
Customize the Schema Markup Yoast generates for my local business

I would appreciate your guidance on how to disable or customize Yoast’s schema output to ensure it doesn’t interfere with the data being generated by Schema Pro.

Yoast schema – Shows page title in name?

Hi guys.

I’m trying to get Google to display the site name in the Google SERP instead of the domain name.

Filling in the sitename in schema should help Google understand the site name of the website.

Site name should be listed in Schema under “name”.

In my case the Page title is listed under schema “name” instead of name of the site.

What am I missing?

I hope some one can help me out.

Yoast Seo no longer recognises the text in the Spectra container. This is a new problem. So far it has worked well. As soon as I deactivate Spectra, the text is recognised again. This only applies to newly created posts. The view of the list of posts in the backend also changes. Too much text of the content is displayed.

XML Parsing Error Conflict YOAST

Hi there, we are getting RSS feed errors, which started with our recent add of the Yoast Seo Plugin ( this is the only change on the website since the error started). Error code in validation screen reads as follows.

Server returned HTTP Error 304: Not Modified

line 1, column 0: XML parsing error: :1:0: no element found

We haven’t made any other code changes, or plugin adjustments. We are using cloudflare CDN, wp rocket, and perfmatters. The Feed file, https://www.polkadotsandpixiedust.com/feed/ loads and looks fine, but didn’t pass validation and isn’t being pulled into the sites where we have the rss feed automated. Let me know if there is a setting or something in Yoast that I need to adjust.
