The plugin is great, congratulations! I have a small issue and maybe you can help me. Emails are not being sent to Gmail or Yahoo. However, I do receive them on emails created on domains. Is there any way I could fix this? The domain is new, so there shouldn’t be any issues with it. Thank you!

Mailpoet Generating “Newsletter” Header in Yahoo Mail

Good Day,

Suddenly, when sending emails via Mailpoet’s service, customers with a Yahoo email address are starting to see a header (outside our email body) that says “OurCompanyName Newsletter” (details).

Do you guys know what’s causing this and how to fix it? The above is not happening with customers that use other email clients.

Help appreciated.

Forms not sending to email when specific email used

Within the form, whenever a person uses an email such as;

yahoo, gmail, sky

it will not send to my email, although it sits in the raw data of form submissions, it also means these people are not getting my automated response.

My wordpress does not send emails to gmail/yahoo

I have a wordpress site, which is “woo commerce” site . with “Fluent smtp” and ultimate member plugins for user registration. My site does not send emails to gmail and yahoo. But when i send a test email from fluent smtp it sends and its on the inbox. How ever when the site sends user activation/verification link. It’s not there in the email inbox or spam. But fluent smtp email log shows it was successful.

when i send email directly from hosting service provider. It sends. And its in the inbox.

when i use an email created to my domain name which is [email protected] . and register from this newly created mail. The site sends activation link to the inbox.

How can i fix this problem.

Google & Yahoo new Sender Requirements

Here’s an excerpt of the email I received today from MailPoet. Everyone else probably got one, also. “The email marketing world is evolving, and we’re here to help you through these pivotal changes. Yahoo’s and Google’s new sender guidelines, effective from February 2024, mandate specific actions for all senders sending to mailboxes hosted by Google and Yahoo. These changes are not just for compliance but are steps towards more effective, trusted email marketing.”

The notice says for Email Marketing. However, I am not using MailPoet for Marketing, I am using it to communicate with members of my group. (eg. meeting reminders, useful information for the group members, etc.)

My Domain Host does not supply a free domain email account, and my group doesn’t charge members. I’m covering the domain under my own hosting and the domain is paid through February 2025, so I can’t move. I’ve been using a free gmail account to send emails to the group.

My question is, can I use my own domain email address as the Sender Email, and have the “Reply to:” email as the gmail account?

Can’t connect to mail host

I’ve followed the instructions on how to set up Postie but I keep getting the error below. I’ve double checked the user id and password several times.

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Any ideas how to get this working?

Restoring top ranking after Japanese keyword hack

How can we restore our top ranking after a malicious Japanese keyword hack? The hack was completely cleaned up two months ago, yet searches for the following key phrases still do not bring up our website to the top 10 pages of Google, Bing or Yahoo:

“tactile maps”
“tactile graphics”
“touch graphics”

Before the hack, InTouch Graphics was at or near the top of search results.

One site that does show up in search results is the “Tactile Maps” page of our associated company: https://www.clickandgomaps.com/clickandgo-tactile-maps/

I have worked very hard to “do SEO” using Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. I have a Pro subscription to TSF.

Google / DDG do not use the Meta description
