I have a plugin called BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Field Types. I have created a field in this plugin which uses this BP Distance Search. It basically allows the user to enter there location during register, then select from the auto complete Google API list.
BP Distance search is a great plugin, but only if the user selects their locaiton from the list. I am having an issue where my users choose to type in there location such as a postcode, and not pick from the list. If they do not choose from the list, then their location is not saved in the database. That users location is then not taken into account when certian features are used on the website.
Is there a way I can force users to pick from the predefined locations within the Google autocomplete list?
Any help is much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Jamie
]]>I run a few sites with your free plugin buddycommerce. It has been really useful so thank you. I use Buddyboss along with Woo for most of my sites.
Basically I want to be able to add the custom X Profile fields I create in buddyboss and add them to the woocommerce Registration form at checkout (I only ever use this one and not the My Account reg form). These fields would then automatically fill the profile after registration at checkout. They would only be visible on registration and not on the second visit to the checkout as a customer. Please can you advise if any of your premium plugins could help me to achieve this (preferable) and if not can you let me know if it is something you could create with a custom development service?
Thanks
Paul
I need xProfile fields support and thought I would try the older version of the plugin. Unfortunately the SVN repository link seems to be broken.
Can you please tell me the version number with xProfiles support? Was it 2.0.2 or 1.3.1?
Thank you
]]>If I am not wrong an exported file of list of WordPress users, created using some export plugin (like WP All Export) can be later imported back?
I have some raw data that I want to import as new BuddyPress members with BuddyPress xProfile fields. If I simulate my manually created file to look like an exported one, can I import this file to create new members with all the xProfile fields I want?
1 – Are ‘BuddyPress Members’ supported?
2 – Are ‘xprofile Fields’ supported?
3 – Can I also assign ‘member type’ (not roles) to the newly created members?
4 – Will the newly created members be able to login? What will be their passwords?
Thank you for the help
]]>Please help. I’m looking for documentation on how to properly set up XProfile fields and the social login to get the most from my clients.
Is it normal that the twitter and instagram emails come in as generated numbers and not the actual emails? It’s usually something like 324324189[at]instagram[dot]com or [at]twitter[dot]com
Thank you!

You can insert any profile from BuddyPress using his name as header. Plugin will check, before import, which fields are defined in BuddyPress and will assign it in the update. You can use this fields:
- Paiement ?
All the list fields indeed correspond to my BP xProfile fields.. If I copy/paste them in my csv header, and fill the lines with “compatible” information, I successfully update (or create upon de novo import) the 8 following fields:
The following fields do not update (or are not imported if de novo import);
Any idea why??
Your support would be of great help for our NGO
I think what would help for a more general audience of your plugin users, is to provide a ‘custom’ csv file, with the header filled with their own BP xProfile fields. It’s just a suggestion, I’ve no idea of how easy it is to do it
Cheers,
]]>It would be very useful to me, to export BP xProfile field data – but it only exports the field names – the data is not included.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks,

]]>For example, I have 5 categories members can select to be in: Art, Music, Literary, Sports and Comedy. I would like to be able to create a shortcode that just pulls up the members list (kind of like it does with members in specific groups) but instead of groups, have it based off of their choice in the Xprofile field for the category.
Let me know. Thanks for an awesome plugin!
