I am having a dilemma. After getting WordPress installed and working with multi-sites. with site say named as test.com, I could not get to the same site using www.test.com. I realized after digging that www considered as subdomain. I talk to my DNS hosts company and they forwarded www.test.com –> test.com which solved the issue temporary. Now, when I moved to my own DNS server I’m facing the same problem again. I tried to do forwarding from httpd.conf or in .htaccess and I get to www.test.com but its the apache page. I tried to change the site name in the wp_options but once its change .. it goes to www.test.com which is again the apache welcome page. what ever I do I end up at apache page. of course if I leave every thing without www forwarding I can get to my main page fine. I hope one of you have a suggestion as run out of tricks. I do not mind doing forwarding using zone files if that is possible.. I’m using Fedora.

Its working good but… I have to figure out redirect chain.
Is it something with the plugin or something on my end that might be the reason why the sitemap just show a blank white page if the url doesn’t contain www? Because normally my wordpress just switch to www version of url if someone is not using www in the url. But for the slimseo sitemap the entire page is just a white blank page that I can’t even right click on. It displays correctly with www tho.
]]>Hello,
Links to our site https://druthers.ca work but https://www.druthers.ca does not – we have determined this problem only occurs when the plugin is active.
We presently have very few of the AIOS settings enabled – no modifications were made to our .htaccess file, and we are at a loss as to what could be causing the problem.
Do you have any suggestions? Thank you.
]]>It looks I am only able to create redirects without www. Is there a possibility to do it with www. as well?
]]>I was able to install WordPress stand alone on my server and turned subdomain to true. I also sat SSL supposed to be for wildcard and domain.com.
now if I open my site, I only can open default site as domain.com, if I add www, it takes me to the initial Apache / Fedora page… I been working on this for almost three weeks and frustrated as a lot of Garbage information on the Net. The other issue when I’m logged in wp-admin main site and want switch to the subdomain site .. it takes me to https://subdomain.domain.com and the page shows not found. If I remove the s from https, then I can go to it and edit and work find. … if I want visit the site I have also to go to http and not https even the wildcard is installed from letsencrypt. I have looked at httpd.conf, wp-conf.php, .htaccess and lots more including white pages, crashes .. just to get the problem resolve and I’m going in circles .. I hope that someone can help me here and will be much appreciated !
I’ve tried by purging the cache of my site, re-installing the plugin, but it still doesn’t work. There is no option to change this from the settings of the plugin.
How can I solve this?
Thanks!
