Hi,

I saw this question a few times on the forum but I didnt manage to get an answer matching with my case.
So, here is my blog : https://www.lucie-guyard.com/blog/
I added a few pages “Qui est la ptite Lu?” “Contact” “Newsletter”.
But as you can see, if you click there, you are stuck and can not go back to the Home Page.

I would like to add a HOME button in the menu bar but I dont know how to put a link in it and I would like the header be clickable and bring back to the Home page. But I have no idea where to put the code…

Can't write posts – Visual Editor not working

Hi.

I was using wordpress.com and finally yesterday I took the leap to www.remarpro.com.

Set up everything with my host and chose a theme. Customized the header and was off to writing posts. But I can’t write posts. The visual editor doesn’t show up.

I browsed online for solutions and here’s what I’ve tried:
– turned off all the plugins, which at the moment was only the wordpress importer – still the same problem
– tried three different browsers and also Windows and MAC OS
– deleted cache completely on all browsers
– switched to the Twenty Twelve theme
– checked to see that my user is an admin
– enabled and disabled the visual editor in my profile

And nothing worked. Please, I need URGENT help as everyday I don’t have my website running is money I’m paying my server and not using it!

Pre-scheduling a post?

My apologies, first, if this is already posted elsewhere. I didn’t know what search keyword combo would help me find an answer… so I’m just asking anew.

Here’s the question… I’m a relative WordPress newbie. So when noticed the calendar option on the “Write posts” page, I was thrilled. I figured, this means I can write a post and then pick a date on the calendar for it to be automatically published… yes?

So I spent an hour or two picking out content of mine to publish, and gave each a date and time. Then I saved the posts as “unpublished” but with those dates in the calendar. It seemed good to go, but I just noticed that the first in the series never went up. I had to go in and hit “publish” manually.

Am I misunderstanding this feature… or possibly doing something wrong? Maybe there’s a plugin that would make it easier. All I want to do is write the posts in advance and then have WordPress pop them into place automatically, per the date and time I select.

Any tips much appreciated.

Can’t write new post

I am trying to write a new post on my new blog on my new 2.5 wordpress installation. When I go to the admin screen and click on the Write tab, of course it gives me the option to write a post, page, or link. Clicking on the page and link works just fine. When I click on post to write a new post, nothing appears. No fields, only “WordPress 2.5.1 is available! Please update now.” I continue to click and click and click, and I get no option to write a new post. I don’t get errors. I get nothing. Nothing about the screen changes at all. I’ve tried uninstalling my theme and installing it again, but to no avail.

Just to let you know, I deleted the “Hello” post that always appears with a new installation and new theme. But I didn’t think doing so would render me unable to write a new post.

Can you help me?

Simplified Write Post template?

I want to let people contribute posts in Contributor role, but I don’t want them to be setting metatags, trackbacks, passwords, and other such items that appear in the Write Posts page when a user/Contributor is logged in.

How can I present a page with just Title, Post, Tags, and Category?

Missing Preview in 2.3

Hi. I finally upgraded to 2.3 and everything is working fine — except for the post preview box, which has somehow disappeared. I suspected one of the plugins I’m using that affect the write post page (AutoTwitter and Ajax Save), but even when I disable them, the box doesn’t show up.

Can anybody help?

Help – Issues after the upgrade

Hi all. I just upgraded one site that I manage with WordPress. The Write Posts and Write pages screen works, but it is lacking the graphical user interface. Basically, it only lets you work on posts or pages in the HTML format. The buttons and tabs “Visual” and “Code” are missing, and the form defaults to code only.

This issue started occurring immediately after the upgrade.

Any help would be appreciated.
