Template folder not writeable

Using Advanced Views Lite v.3.4.8. getting a message Advanced Views (view_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) template:?Templates folder is not writable. This has started recently, but no changes have been made to the site. Looking inside on this particular view are two messages – one saying the template folder isn’t writeable (if you can give me the folder location on the server I can check/fix that) but also one that says Validation failed. 1 field requires attention, but all fields are OK.

You can see this at the above URL if you click the button marked +info. This is on a live site so fairly important I get a fix,.

Your plugin is broken – sliders don’t show – issue is the area in backend where you would usually select products,

Updated the plugin and stripped all my selected products away from all my sliders.

That function is now broken so I cant even add them back in.

So plug-in is now dead,

I installed your latest version on a completely different site and same issue.

unable to write to error log

Per your instructions on the support functionality I’m entering this from our constant contact log. There is only one item but I did not find this error when searching this forum.

We are not able to write to the /home/ourGoDaddyUser/public_html/wp-content/ctct-logs/constant-contact-errors.log file.

Advise?

Write Permissions Error

Hi,

I have just moved a WordPress site to a new web host. Since doing that Mailpoet is displaying the following error in the WordPress dashboard:

MailPoet Error: MailPoet requires write permissions inside the /wp-content/uploads folder. Please read our instructions on how to resolve this issue.

I have read the instructions which say the uploads folder permissions should be set to 777, 775, 755. I have checked and both wp-content and uploads are set to 755, so I don’t understand why there is an error.

Error writing file and unable to upgrade

My database back-up failed. The log file shows 5 Error while writing file. The step then aborted after too many attempts. I had a similar issue over a month ago (June 14 – created a topic), but I was able to run the next day using different compression settings. This time when I try to run again, the job ends in seconds, doing nothing and creating an empty log file.

I am running version 3.4.0 of backWPup. I don’t like to update plugins without backing up first, but I did try to update to 3.4.1 in case the newer version would work. The update failed because it was unable to create a backup directory.

Unable to write in the directory after moving wordpress to another folder

WPThumb has detected a problem. The directory is not writable.
This is the error I’m getting due to which I’m unable to upload new images or even change the custom css scripts. This happened after I moved from a subfolder to the main root folder of the site. Kindly let me know what could be done.

Media Error upload when publishing a post

Hi,

I have using wordpress to create a simple blog containing just pictures and text. I am not using any coding whatsoever.

The last 4 times when I have tried to publish a post the upload bar has got all the way to the end but then the following message appears
“Media error.
An error occurred while uploading media: write error: ssl=0xad364400: I/O er…”
Then string of characters after the = sign varies, another time it was “0x91511200”.

I have tried reinstalling the app and I have also these occurrences posted 6 similar posts successfully.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Please bare in mind I have limited knowledge of wordpress.

I’m hoping someone can help with this error that has occurred when I’ve tried to upload an image into the Media area

“picture.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error

Any ideas on how to rectify this?

Error on Page When Attempting to Write New Post/Page

I started my blog today and everything worked fine from work. Wrote my 1st post, and worked great. I get home and add my plug-ins, now there are suddenly errors on the page when I attempt to write posts; as such, I can’t click into or tab into the field to write on either posts or pages. Also, the button to switch from visual to code doesn’t work.

No error messages, just the little symbol at the bottom of IE saying errors on page. Oh, also, all plugins have been disabled and still having the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
