Missing word ‘by’ from all my posted articles

Hi,

I have been working on my website for the last month and today I noticed that all my articles are missing word ‘by’

When I edit post it is there but when I click preview or publish it disappears.

Can you please let me know how to fix this please?

I installed the latest version of WordPress but I cannot edit the posts but they can be seen on the blog.

Problems writing a post with MAC

Hi folks!

Got a problem I need to solve. Just bougth myself a MacBook because my PC broke down. Now here is my problem;

1. In “write a post” I get a problem. When I use enter for changing lines for the sentences, there is no room between the sentences when I save and publish it. This never happened with my PC. If this is because I use Mac, what should I do?
2. Another problem is that when I change from “visual” to “code” I don`t get to see the html codes… Is that also because I use Mac?

Very Quirky problems started suddenly!

First it started with my admin login page. The WP Logo is blackened out.
Then, I login to write and get what looks like the problem with the flash uploader. It overtakes my entire writing area and I can’t click in to write the post. I followed all the steps on the sticky post above and it will work and then come back. I clear the cache and it works and comes back. I upgraded my flash for firefox and installed both the bad behavior plugin and the php plugin to remove the flash uploader and it’s not working. I even tried the htaccess suggestions but it didn’t appear to do anything at all. Everything was fine when I first installed the new 2.5.1 and I’ve been using it without a problem for nearly two days! The only thing that I’ve changed is added the secret key to the config.php and I can’t see how that would’ve made the writing area go nuts.

I’m on a hosted, shared, server with LunarPages and I’ve not received any notice that something is going on there. Anyone else having this weird behavior?

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Press It Doesn’t Work – 405 Error

Hi there,

When I bookmark “press it” for my blog then try to click on it when I want to write a post, I get a 405 error saying the website has a programming error. The funny thing is that I host two websites on one hosting package and the press it function works for one site and not for the other. Does anyone know what I can tweak so I can get press it to function?

Change of interface under ‘write a post’

Hello,

This is my first post and I am a little bit stuck using Word Press. I run a small information source www.carbonneutraltourism.co.uk

Since yesterday when I go into write a post there is a new interface where under the space where you input the title there is a line of commands which include b, I, link, b-quote etc. I was wondering how do I switch back to the old view of this interface as I am not too sure how to use these commands when writing the post.

“Write A Post” Box Too Big – Spreads Under Boxes on Right

Greetings,
I’ve been using the Write a Post box (under the tab “Write”) for months and it’s been fine. But now when I hit “write a post” the empty box first pops up for a second at the right size, then expands a .75″ to the right going under the Password Protect, Dicussion, Categories, etc., boxes that line the right side of the page. I can’t see the text under the boxes but can see the text in the gaps between the boxes. The Title Box stays at the proper size.
Weird part – my partner’s Write A Post page is fine hwen he logs into our admin/manage section. he did just change our template on the website itself and the timing is more than coincidental despite the fact no changes were made to the “write” pages.
