I am only using socicon and narrowed it down in the settings to only load.

From the apache logs and the webbrowser I can see the following be loaded:

The lines above in “social-icons-widget-by-wpzoom.php” could be remarked without any issues, reducing the font loading with 150KB.

The css could be improved to load the woff, instead of the ttf, by changing the order, although with no gain due to the same size. But maybe a compressed woff2 might be available.

Can you please comment/improve font loading.

Using FontAwesome – GDPR compliant?

Hi,
My client’s website is using this plugin by WPZOOM.
WPZOOM says their plugins are all GDPR-compliant and it’s true I’m not seeing any calls to google servers on the website’s pages.
However, I know the plugin makes use of FontAwesome. Is it loaded through Google and therefore not GDPR-compliant, or are the icon sets saved locally and WPZOOM serves them locally, so the plugin is compliant?

Instagram with WPZoom Instagram Plugin

I’m using the WPZoom Instagram Widget on my site and trying to block it with Complianz before the user has given their consent to display the Instagram posts. The placeholder is working fine, but Complianz doesn’t block the requests to the instagram server (in my case: cdninstagram.com).

My Complianz settings:

– In the wizard I selected Social-Media-Content and Instagram
– In the integrations I selected Instagram and placeholder

Any suggestions?

Bugs & Constant CSS Inline Adaptations

The customizer settings for coloring would work sometimes and other times have no effect. Instead of fixing the problem they constantly required inline CSS, to the point the theme itself was not effective as a product. It looks nice but continually having to write inline CSS for whatever was breaking under the hood does not seem right for the customer to have to do.

They agree to a refund then promptly then said no. I trusted what they said and then purchased another theme based on their word to do a refund. I wasted $200 as I cannot predictably use it but have to constantly adapt to its limitations and bugs with inline coding. Sure do wish it worked, it looks fantastic. It was too good to be true from the start it seems.

Lightbox not working on iPhone

We are using the plugin to embed an Instagram feed in multiple locations on this site. Because of the theme we’re using (Stockholm) we’ve got it set up as a widgetized sidebar. It works great on desktop, and works fine in desktop Chrome set to mobile/responsive mode with the Inspector at phone size, but if you try it on Safari or Chrome on an iPhone, you’ll find that no matter which photo you click on, it displays the same image in the lightbox.

Not sure if it’s doing this on Android phones as well, since I don’t have one handy to test on at the moment.

Any way we can fix this? Thanks!

Hi!

I’ve recently installed an Instagram widget on my free Foodica theme website.
The widget only pulls out my Instagram images and not my reels or videos (even if I shared these on my feed) – is there a way to display my feed exactly how it looks on Instagram (in other words, including all images, reels, and videos)?

Is there an alternative widget that you know of that is able to display the entire feed?

Since the last update the images are not showing up in my Instagram feed on the homepage.
I already tried to disable and re-activate the plugin. Also re-active the Instagram API, but without result.

Any idea how this can be fixed?

Failed to initialize plugin:recipe

Hello! After the wordpress 5.5 update that I did. I am getting a red error box on the backend of my site. In red letters “Failed to initialize plugin:recipe” inclosed in a light pink box. I deactivated all the plugins one by one, and sure enough it is the WP Recipe Maker. It was totally fine before the update. It seems The recipe does show up on my front end. And I can still create a new post and use the plugin as normal. However, I can’t reply to any comments. I can approve them, I just can’t reply to them. It is so weird. Other then this, I haven’t noticed any other issues effected by the error, yet.

Any thoughts? Run across this before?
