Error when I tried to import “Unable to import”

Hi, how are you?

So… I made a backup of my WordPress site using the All-in-One plugin. In this backup, it generated a file ending in .WPRESS

When I try to import (through All in One itself), everything goes fine, until the following error appears:

Unable to import

I read a lot about on the forum and I saw that it could be the limitations of the hosting, like the max upload size file, max execution time, but it’s not, because I already set a high value for all these and I didn’t get anything, the error remains

The question is: is it possible to import a .wpress file manually, through the file manager? Or is there some other way to do this? I’m really lost

Hi, after install wordpress I couldn’t import my file. I am getting an error that shows below.

I install wordpress on my macbook and running wordpress on my local drive.
My friend make a site for me and send me the file. But couldn’t upload because can’t read the file.

Checking extensions compatibility

When I try to export as a file it stalls on “Checking extensions compatibility”. I also am unable to import a previously exported copy of my site. I tried removing and re-installing the plug-in, but same issue. all-in-one-wp-migration has worked great for me for several years, so I’ve prefer to keep using it if possible.

Convert .zip to .wpress file

Is there any way I can convert a .zip to .wpress? I saved my website with Duplicator, but All in One Migration is waaay better. Now I need to import my website and I am looking for the easier and faster way that All in One provides.

Restore hanging

Hi I have been trying to restore a backup for a while, it hangs on 96%
I have left it on this screen for 12 hours in the hope that it would just work
I have deleted the hosting package and reinstalled wp a few time all with the same result.
I have set the php version to 5.2 as its queit an old site im am trying to restore.

The backup file is only 44mb
I have tested the file on your webpage for testing the wpress files and it opens fine on there.

I have used your great plugin for lots of years on much larger sites with out issue, using the same hosting provider.

Any other suggestions please.
