When I’m trying to edit the code on a embedded movie post (let’s say Google movie) like this:

… I get into code box (when I switch from visual to code mode) something like this:
<ibed style=\"width: 400px; height: 326px\" id=\"VideoPlayback\" type=\"application/x-shockwave-flash\"> </ibed>
How do I get rid of the automatic tag placement when the write box is filled with embedded movies?
I think this is the problem: i = em in html formatting … so I guess this is causing me trouble.
Is it a 2.1 bug or something? Can I disable visual mode when editing / writing?
Thanks,
Alex Mielus
I only get the old old text buttons… See screen shot:

This is with the fresh install of WP 2.1
When the themeswitcher plugin is active (I fixed it once I disabled the plugin !)
If I am currently having the active theme being, let’s say – X.
And then I delete the folder of that theme (X).
I will revert to the default kubric theme with the massage:
“The active theme is broken. Reverting to the default theme.”
But then I can’t change that default theme to anything else any more, each attempt to change the theme, brings me back to cubrick with the massage:
“The active theme is broken. Reverting to the default theme.”

It all seemed to work just fine minus a few minor issues:
1). The Category order plugin is not working, and categories are not ordering… In addition, some random categories showed up… Like the Friends category and a few others that I deleted.
Anyway, there is nothing in the Friends category, but it lists that there are 8 Links in the category, so I’m afraid to delete this one in case it may delete our links.
Which brings me to the second problem…
2). Where the hell is the Links management area?! How do we change/add/modify and do junk with the links now?
If so – can you please tell me how? I’m desperate to get caching working on my site, but it’s impossible because the plugin assumes a Linux setup as far as I can see so the automated install doesn’t work.
Help?
Here is the code:

<?php posts_nav_link('', '', _t('« Previous Entries')); ?>
|
<?php posts_nav_link('', _t('Next Entries »'), ''); ?>

All I see on the page is the ” | ” the previous Entries and Next Entries navigation does not appear at all. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
I’ve been using WP a lot, so i’m pretty sure this is not a stupid question.
Today i’ve upgraded from 2.07 to 2.1 and somehow when i upload an image using the editor, when ready i click on it and try to send to editor using the button “send to editor” and it does nothing.
Firebug plugin of firefox says:
‘win.edInsertContent is not a function
https://www.scyfox-site.com/wp/wp-admin/upload-js.php?ver=20070118
Line 252
win.edInsertContent is not a function’
I’m out of ideas. Just installed. No plugins in WP are active.
any ideas?
BTW: tinyMCE is supposed to have only 2 buttons??
I am hosting my blogs at Dreamhost (shared hosting). My site is using PHP 5.2.0 and phpinfo() reports:
Zend Extension 220060519
From the moment I upgraded to WordPress 2.1 I am getting loads of error messages in log:
Zend Optimizer requires Zend Engine API version 220051025.
The Zend Engine API version 220060519 which is installed, is newer.
Contact Zend Technologies at https://www.zend.com/ for a later version of Zend Optimizer.
Any idea how can I sort this out?
Thanks.
