Im creating a wordpress based site locally using the Imbalance 2 theme.
Im very happy with how it looks this far, but now i have run in to a problem that maybe you can help me solve.
Im trying to make a single post on the front page link to a category instead of the post name.
Instead of going like this:
https://homepage.com/page_name/inspiration/
I want it to link to
https://homepage.com/page_name/category/inspiration/
How would you go about doing this? Any help or tips are much appreciated.
Kind regards
Jakob
i am sorry for my bad english, but i hope you can help me.
greets, t.
I understand infinite scroll questions get a bit old here, but this one is legitimate! I swear!!
I’m using the theme ‘Paragrams‘ by WP Shower and I’m trying to hook it up to the latest version of infinite scroll (2.6.2 at the time of writing this)
The user beaver6813 found a solution here, however whatever hack he included as a download is now a damaged file according to winrar.
I’m currently using the selectors beaver6813 has reccomended which are:
Content Selector: #outer > .li_container:first
Posts Selector: .li_container > .mcol, #outer > ul.mcol
Navigation Selector: #nav
Next Page Selector: #nav #navleft a:first
And the callback function:
jQuery(newElements).makeacolumnlists({cols: 3, colWidth: 0, equalHeight: ‘ul’, startN: 1});
I’m wondering if anyone has found a real solution for this? Please let me know, and any and all help would be greatly appreciated not only by me, but by the WORLD D:< mwah.mwaha.mwahahaha.

]]>This is a long shot, but has anyone found a way to add/edit/remove/change the order of images in the Expositio theme by WP Shower using WordPress 3.5?
WordPress 3.5 has updated the gallery interface and now the Expositio theme is no longer compatible.
I have a feeling I need to either a) wait for WP Shower to release a new version of Expositio or b) find a web programmer who will heavily code the theme to work with the gallery interface of 3.5. Argh.
]]>The project i’m working on is https://97seconds.com based on Imbalance Theme from wp-shower using wp-pagenavi
What i get so far is
content selector: #conntent (with two ‘n’)
posts selector: #article
navigation selector: #wp-pagenavi
next page selector: #wp-pagenavi .nextpostslink
Any idea can help !
Thanks

]]>I’m using the fantastic WP RETINA 2X plugin, for my new website using a wonderful WP Shower theme, https://wpshower.com/themes/portfolium/
Unfortunately, I can’t get it working for some reason trying every option (I think) under the sun.
You can view my dev site with the retina test here: https://stage.visualcontinuity.co.uk/tabrezdotseesee/portfolio/retina-tester-2
The full image is on this link: https://stage.visualcontinuity.co.uk/tabrezdotseesee/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/[email protected]
On this theme, to add images, you have to drop files into the portfolio section, I’m choosing large (785 × 523), then save changes (not “insert into post”) and this is how images are uploaded to this theme.
The images are not being scaled down, and just appear huge and the thumbnail is also pixelated.
I got in touch with the developer, and he kindly responded with the following:
“The problem is actually very simple: a retina image is used, but also the HTML code has a different width and height (which actually shouldn’t have changed). The problem is therefore located in your theme, and you will have to force the image to be 785×523 in the HTML code or the CSS.”
So…my question is, what do I do in my CSS to make this change?
Thanks very much in advance.
