Satellite theme not installing

I’m unable to install the Satellite theme on my self-hosted site.

The following error message comes up:

Installing the theme…

This theme requires a parent theme. Checking if it is installed…

The parent theme could not be found. You will need to install the parent theme, scrawl, before you can use this child theme.

Theme installed successfully.

I already installed the “Scrawl” theme (https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/scrawl/) But I still get the same error.

I’m tasked with replicating salescart.wordpress.com “as” blog.salescart.com .

The problem is under Appearance>>Customize….I only have [Site, Title and Tagline] and don’t have [Site, Title, Tagline, and Logo.] Why do I not have the logo option?

The plane theme is ‘different’..?

Slideshow for Sight theme does not appear v4.1.1

Hey All,

I tried out a theme called Sight (by WPShower) and it has a great slideshow feature that displays sticky posts and featured images etc. I demoed this on my old wordpress site and it worked fine, but when I installed the newest version on my own site, the slider function does not appear at all.

I did some research on the forums and it seems like a similar issue has dogged this theme through the updates. Many threads were old and fixes directed me to area that no longer existed. Does anyone know how to get the slider to show up??

If its a simple fix, call me an idiot and I’ll still thank you… I just want the damn slideshow to work.

The posts do not appear with an option to set them as “sticky” at all. I installed a plug-in to accomplish this and have multiple posts with featured images marked as sticky, but still no slideshow.

Hello, my site www.luxurynewsonline.com looks really basic on my iphone and totally different on my ipad and on my Mac and PC. How do I just get it to view normally on my phone? I have tried installing a plugin which hasnt worked. I am using WordPress 4.0.1 running Yamidoo Magazine theme. I dont know how to code or or add code, is there not an option that i can just click? Theme Sequential Front Page problem

Hello,

I’m very new to WordPress and am using ‘Sequential’ theme.

On the front page of this theme there is a coloured part and a white part. I would like to have different text/images displayed in these two parts. I can’t find how to edit the second part of the Front page (white part). I know I must be missing something very simple and obvious.

All I could find in the documentation was to go through ‘Customise’ but I tried this and could not find any way to edit this section specifically.
