500 – internal server error – can't access admin

I have the same trouble.
I’ve tryed everithing you wrote before.
Disabled plugins via FTP, renamed .htacces (and also tryed to uplad an .htaccess file from an other installation on the same servers), changed the theme, but I still have the problem.
All the problems are in the admin site. Something works, something doesn’t.
I can’t access plugins admin, theme admin, wp updates.
When I publish an article I get 500 internal server error, but the article results published.
I’ve activeted LOG in wp and I Have logs from server:

I don’t know what happened, I think it was caused by a wp version update, but I’m not sure.

Custom permalinks and 3.4

After upgrading to 3.4, only the default permalink (?page_id=) will work. Any custom permalinks produce a 404 error. It works fine during development when I access the site using /wp at the end of the URL, however, when I “move” it to the root (leaving all but the index.php file in the /wp folder) the custom permalinks no longer work.

This is the same procedure I have used on all my sites without a problem prior to the 3.4 upgrade.

Trouble uploading photos version 3.4 (file could not be moved)

for WP I’ve been able to upload photos fine even with version 3.4 despite people having trouble with it. Now a few days ago I can’t upload photos and I get an error message that says:

(file name).JPG has failed to upload due to an error
The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/(our previous site name)/(previous site name).com/NSM/wp-content/uploads/2012/09

I believe the problem has something to do with the FTP, permissions, and some coding on WP. Can anyone help? Do I need to upgrade/downgrade?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I updated to WP version 3.4 and rec’d. a server error 500. I removed all plugins, re-installed individually, testing after each activation. The issue seems to be caused by Yoast.

Site down after updated to WP 3.4 from WP 3.3.2

I am having a major problem with my website.

I have updated to WP 3.4 from WP 3.3.2. And in a few second the site went off.

On the homepage, the error is:

On the admin page, this is the one:

Why would WP 3.4 insist on a database update after 24 hours?

Hi,

I had two occasions were this issue surfaced:
Original installation was WP 3.1
I did an automatic update to WP 3.4 and all was fine.

About 24 hours later, I get kicked out of admin panel and when I login, I’m locked out and presented with a message saying WP was recently updated and the DB needs to be updated.

Following that, I (of course) loose all the site (the DB is now empty).

What’s going on?

WP-Login WP 3.4

Good morning.

Today I’ve upgraded to the last version of wP 3.4. All was gone well.
Only a problem.
When I try to login on https://MYSITE/wordpress/wp-login.php happen that the login form reload blank.

I look at the bar and I read:
https://MYSITE/wordpress/wp-login.php?redirect_to=MYSITE%2Fwordpress%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

I’ve immediately removed via-FTP the plugin like registration-plus and similar, but nothing is changed.

The site is however visible.

Broken Theme

I just upgraded to 3.4 and it broke my theme (Back My Book). I can see the main page, but when I try to login to WP Admin I get an error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Custom_Image_Header in /wp-admin/custom-header.php on line 16

I have the default themes like 2010 and 2011 installed and I’ve been keeping them updated. Is there a way to change the theme by editing a file somewhere so I can bypass this error to get back into my wordpress? Or is the entire site hosed and does it need to be reinstalled after the offending theme is deleted?
