Parameter warning in WP 2.8.5

I’m getting the following parameter exception in QP 2.8.5:

Warning: Parameter 1 to keywords_appendTags() expected to be a reference, value given in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\plugin.php on line 166

No text is showing as a result.

Any ideas on how to correct?

Blog post formatting issue

I created a new post this past week, and when I preview it, all looks good. But when it’s viewed from my site, the formatting is wrong – never seen this before.

I’m using 2.8.5 and the Flexx theme.

I’ll give you two examples –

Dashboard WP 2.8.5 reports 0 post

When I try to post a new article, the category also blank (zero category).

How to solve this problem?

Cant view my blog posts only homepage

Hello,

I have just upgraded recently to WP 2.8.5 from 2.8.4. The following day I could no longer view all my blogposts but only the homepage. I’ve tested four browsers, cleared the cache and browsing history but I still got this message everytime I tried to view any of my blog post:

This webpage has a redirect loop.

The webpage at https://onlyinthephilippines-atibapa.com/2009/08/23/how-to-make-money-online-only-in-paid-to-click-sites/ has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.

Safari can’t open the page.
Too many redirects occurred trying to open “https://onlyinthephilippines-atibapa.com/2009/08/23/how-to-make-money-online-only-in-paid-to-click-sites/”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.

The page isn’t redirecting properly

Hi – just wanted to say that I had to disable iTALM on my WP 2.8.5 installation, as it caused the ajax and other things to go haywire: insert media buttons inactive on posts, drop-down menu arrows on the admin sidebar not working, “select all” checkbox at the head of plugins column not selecting anything at all…

In addition, when I installed iTALM, I got the following message: “WARNING: Your version of iTALM requires upgrading please visit the upgrade page.” When going to the upgrade page, I get the message “nothing to upgrade”. Have tried re-installing to no avail.

1and1 error 500 HELP PLEASE

Hi
I am having a big issue on my hosted domain. I wanted to activate wp e-commerce plugin without success. I have tried to put line in to .htaccess and also trick with php.ini file with line about memory. So far no result :-(. I am really exhausted with this problem and I regret to go in contract with 1and1.
Their service is really unhelpful and last mail they sent to me is :

I have received and read about your query/concern, and in an effort to
completely assist you, I have personally looked into the website itself
and as well as your account’s webspace files and found out that you
have uploaded a .htaccess file(for PHP parsing from PHP4 to 5 purposes)
which is syntactically misconfigured that in return causes this 500
Error.

To resolve it, please make a slight correction from your .htaccess
file’s syntax(if you really intend to have this configuration)
otherwise you may just disable it yet, so then it will have your webpage
back.

Does anyone can translate me what they want me to do?

Any help or suggestion are appreciate it.

Comment box is now in footer after wp 285 upgrade

Comment box of comment form is now situated in footer since upgrade to wp285

I had a text widget in sidebar containing an iframe ad at top of right sidebar and that was also appearing both at top of right sidebar and in footer above the comment box —in the footer

I removed the text widget and the ad went away from footer and now just comment box of comment form is in the footer with rest of widgets behaving themselves in the sidebar.
