(theme workaholic) Blog post and portfolio gallery not showing

I’m using the workaholic theme and i can’t seem to get my blog post to display properly. Also, portfolio gallery will not show with a list of images.

Issues with WordPress theme Workaholic 3.0.2

Hi. I am having issues with a specific Twitter widget feed on my website, hayleymelissa.com. It is my personal portfolio website that I developed in college using the free Workaholic WordPress theme from graph paper press. I am rarely on the site, but just noticed that my Twitter bird widget is no longer working. It is supposed to display my most latest tweet and is no longer doing so. It says that my Twitter account is still connected. It used to work just fine, so I’m not really sure what happened. I haven’t touched or edited anything in over a year.

Any ideas on why this could be? I know I’m running an older version WordPress as well as an older version of the theme, but I don’t know why this would effect it consider it was once working.

Any help on this issue would be much appreciated. I don’t have a paid subscription account with Graph Paper Press, and therefore can not request their support services.

Work-a-holic: Portfolio Slider (Gallery) Size

I am using the Work-a-holic theme because I like how the gallery has numbered tabs to navigate images. However, I can’t control the gallery image size, which is automatically being set quite small (about half the width of the size of the gallery box).

Here is my site (it is rudimentary because I want to resolve the gallery issue if possible before moving on):

I tried choosing “small,” “medium,” and “large” for my images sizes, but they were always small in the gallery.

On workaholic’s demo page, they have very large galleries, so I know it’s possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Reduce vertical margin/padding/border/spacing

Hey guys.

I’ve got a problem with my theme, The space in between what I believe are called containers are too large. The theme uses a 960 grid system; workaholic.

It looks like I’ve got 20px padding below the header, 20px above the slider, what looks like vertical padding all over the place but I can’t find any reference to the padding in my heading file, style.css or 960.css.

[Theme: Workaholic] Cannot post a blog

Hi guys,

I’ve installed and edited the Workaholic template (my site is here: www.calumhandforth.com) but I’ve got a really bizarre issue: I’m unable to post a blog. The two posts that you can see on the homepage, when clicked on take you to the ‘Portfolio’ page, not the ‘Blog’ one (the distinction can be seen here with the blog page: https://demo.graphpaperpress.com/workaholic/2010/05/14/ut-ut-lacus-sapien/ ).

How can I get this page to be active? Ideally I want someone who clicks the image on the main page for the article to be taken to that Blog page: is this possible? If not, how do I even get the blog page working in the first place?

[Theme: Workaholic] Number of project thumbnails per page

On the main page of the demo, there are 8 project thumbnails and the option to go to the next page to view more. How can I specify the number of project thumbnails to be shown? For example, if I only wanted 6 on each page?

Been hacking for weeks trying to figure this out – I am using 3.1.1 and a Graph Paper Press theme: Workaholic. They only offer support on a couple of forums and this question has been raised several times with no answers, so if anyone else has figured this out, let me know.

My comment box is not showing up on any posts. Nor is there a link or button to post a comment. I have everything checked to Yes or On or whatever might allow comments, and still nothing. I have also followed the steps of almost every other forum related to comments and nothing has worked, so please don’t direct me to them!

I seem to be having problems getting the Nav links to go horizontal. I have been able to do this before, but the them I am using, Workaholic, has a few different css files and nothing I have tried has worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Categories thumbs

Hi,

I would like to show thumbnails of my categories instead of a list of articles. Unfortunately the people behind the theme doesn’t have a support or a forum section, so I can’t ask them.
