WordPress site size nearly tripled after 6.7 update

Hi WordPress,

After the WordPress 6.7 update, I noticed a significant (nearly 3x!!!) increase in the size of our WordPress sites and site backup files. We scanned our servers and do not detect any malware, and in many cases no changes were made to the sites other than the WordPress version update. This ballooning WordPress site size has caused our backups to take significantly longer in and some cases fail. Each site is now taking up nearly 3x more space on our servers for no reason we can explain. Is this an issue other people have noticed, and if so, can something be done to fix it?

Auto Update to 6.7.1 Broke Backend Log-in

Can’t log in to Admin after auto update to WP 6.7.1 on this one site. I have auto updates disabled on all other websites I manage, my own and clients, so haven’t updated yet.

It looks like it relates to a few different plugins. I’m waiting until the restaurant is closed to attempt a fix, because the website frontend works as usual.

I have a screenshot of the error messages.

Theme debugging

I did the latest WordPress update , Then began getting a debugging Error, saying that my theme is not compatible . I did try other themes but same result occurred. I also noticed that when you go to check out of my store , You can not process a payment . I also made sure all the plug in were up to date as well . Can anyone help me out ?

Theme-translations not working on WP 6.7

Editing screen shaking after WP update

Hello,

I was working on editing a blog post and then suddenly the screen just starts shaking and won’t let me work.

It seems it is caused by the bottom horizontal scrolling bar which seems to be going “crazy”

I updated WP yesterday to the new version. Perhaps there is some kind of bug? I’ve never had this issue before.

Translations and styling gone after WP 6.7 update

After WP upgrade to 6.7, the custom styling and also translations on the theme/child-theme are gone, even the admin translations are gone. Page titles, breadcrumbs appear where they are not supposed to.

I have asked my ISP to do a full database snapshot which is in progress now, it’s been more than 3 hours now and the page is unavailable for customers, plus because of the snapshot rollback, we lost several orders..

I’m using eStore theme.

WordPress core update failed

We are experiencing issues when trying to update our WordPress core to version 6.6.2. I’ve already checked the usual suspects, like file permissions, and everything seems to be set correctly.

We’re hosted on AWS Lightsail, and I have FTP access to manage permissions. The primary user for the instance is “bitnami.” After reviewing various forum posts, I tried modifying permissions on the core folders, but that caused the website to break.

It’s important to note that all our plugins are auto-updating without any problems.

Menu and header problems after 6.6 update

Hello! everytime that updated the wordpress, somes problems have with the menu and header :/

This time, i don’t know why, the logo or name in the header don’t change the color with the CSS code, when a couple days ago can.

Also, I had a CSS code to create a transparency when the menu opens, it doesn’t work either. Likewise, when I moused over the menu options, a line used to appear below the text, no longer

I dissabled all the plug-ins, udpate the theme (Twenty Twenty-Four) clean the cache, test in different divices, nothing….
