Hi,

I just transferred my hosting and domain to SiteGround. However, I now get an error message like this:

Warning: Parameter 2 to wp_hide_post_Public::query_posts_join() expected to be a reference, value given in /home/customer/www/utterlycynthia.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 288

I removed the Hide Post plugin, but keep getting this message. What should I do?

I am going to design a website for a new customer and I am not sure how it would work if If was going to purchase and download the theme using information I provide (my email address)to access the theme. After I am finished with the design I need to hand everything over to the customer for him to maintain it. The Hosting, the Theme, the renewals and updates all need to be transferred to the customer. How would I do this without losing anything or having to pay a second time?

Here is my situation. A friend wants me to create a WordPress site for them but doesn’t want to give me their hosting info to create it there. Is there a way that I can create the site on my own hosting and then zip it up and send it to him to install there? If so, what is the procedure?

Site moved from WordPress.com won't open in Chrome

I recently transferred my blog site viewsfromtheridge.com from wordpress.com hosting to a new severs.
The site loads fine on Safari & Firefox but Chrome sends me to a default cpanel page (initially wouldn’t even go that far stating it wasn’t safe).

Has anyone seen this before? The site transfer went though yesterday pm.

I installed WordPress locally and created a single page, plus a contact form (using contact form 7). I transferred my local WP installation to a hosting account (into which I already installed WP using the hosting provider’s installation procedure), using the WP All-In-On-Migration plugin. The transfer was reported to me as successful.

I can see my webpage in the Pages area in the backend of my site and the contact form in the Contact plugin area.

But when I type the URL for my domain, I get a “Nothing Found” page.
If I put www. before my domain name, I get a 404 error.

I’m trying to transfer my wordpress.com blog to my self-hosted site, which I purchased and run (host) though NameCheap. When I click TOOLS then upload the exported wordpress.com file, it seems to get stuck about halfway in. I tried starting over and the same thing happened. Is it supposed to take a super long time to import?

Hi,So i am creating a website for a client of mine and i made a test site on my hosting (Hostgator). He really liked the test site and wants me to transfer it to his domain. But he has different hosting than me (Webhostinghub). Also, the test site that i made is a sub-domain (ex. www.test.domain.com). Also, I use Godaddy for my domains and he uses a different company (so there are 4 different accounts involved).
How can i move the test site over to his domain?
