My posts were previously showing on the WordPress reader(some still are). Then I stopped posting for a while, during that time, I changed my hosting and my blog theme. Since then the new posts no longer show on the WordPress reader but the old one are still there.
I have connected and disconnected from Jetpack multiple times, I have installed and uninstalled it multiple times but it is still not working. Just a couple of posts are showing and the recent posts are not showing up.
I saw a post relating to RSS feed, I tried to check mine but it keeps saying that ”It looks like this is a web page, not a feed. I looked for a feed associated with this page, but couldn’t find one. Please enter the address of your feed to validate.” and I am also not sure what this means and what to do about it.
]]>In general, I cannot access anything to manage my WP site through the WordPress Reader.
My recently published Post listed in the WordPress Reader is not showing an add a comment space, rectangular comment sign, star likes sign but it does have the ‘share & reblog’ symbols. Also, there are no Subscribers listed. There is no way of managing comments, etc in the Reader.
Any comments/likes received are visible only by logging into my website dashboard directly and not visible in anyway via the WP Reader.
Also: The “Sites” sidebar lists my one website as two (the same) active sites.
Other problems include inability to access Jetpack stats in the WP Reader such as: “View your Site’s Traffic”, “Views & Visitors” etc ?
I have re-checked all my Settings directly on my website Admin with Jetpack as follows:
My basic Jetpack Settings configurations –
Sharing buttons in Sharing section is enabled. Let visitors use a WordPress.com or Facebook account to comment & Enable comment Likes in Discussion section are enabled.
In addition, comments, comment likes, likes are all activated on my Jetpack module page.
Because these issues seem interrelated, I have a help request in the Jetpack WP.org Forum pending about the Jetpack portion of this problem also.
Thank you in advance for your attention to these multiple issues.
]]>My site is a self-hosted WordPress blog and it was brought to my attention last week that my comments seem to be closed on the WordPress.com WordPress Reader. It mentions ‘comments are closed’ under my post.
However, when you go to my site directly via the browser, comments are open and working normally.
Comments made via the browser do appear in the reader, but with the ‘comments are closed’ mention underneath and no option to post a new comment.
I checked my settings and all seems to be normal:
– Under Settings > Discussion I have ‘Allow people to post comments on new articles’ turned on.
– And in the settings per each individual blog post I also have comments turned on.
I tried switching to the Twenty Twenty-Two theme but the issue seemed to persist so I don’t think it’s theme related.
What could be causing this issue?
Thanks in advance!

]]>I have Published following Posts on my website https://arablelife.com but not getting appeared on the wordpress feed.
Post 1 – URL Dated July 19, 2022
Post 2 – URL Dated July 23, 2022
The last post updated in the WordPress feed dated 5th January 2022.
Please help me how to resolve.
]]>I recently disabled the “Like” button on my site, but to my surprise, that doesn’t deactivate the “Like” feature in WordPress Reader, where it is still possible to “Like” my posts (I just do not receive notifications anymore for them).
This defeats the purpose of disabling the “Like” button — I did not want to show this for my site anymore, at all…
Thanks for any help
Alexander.
Is there any way to update the temporary URL to the permanent one? This seems to have been a recent change.
