Did PolyLang break on php 8.0 WP ver – 5.6?

Hi,

I have a fresh WP install and updated php ver – 8.0 on my localhost. Just installed Polylang and immediately I was getting a warning at the top of the screen. I disabled the plugin and it was gone. It seems to be just a warning but if I go into the Languages menu, up top it brings up this warning:
Warning: Only the first byte will be assigned to the string offset in D:\xampp\htdocs\ability-jan-2021\wp-includes\class.wp-scripts.php on line 492

My client wants to use it but he will wondering about that warning. Will this prevent him from using it?

Anyway to fix this warning?

Just starting using the plugin as my company just converted over to a WordPress site. This plugin was recommended via a blog/video. Installed the plugin and really like the look, feel and simplicity of it so we decided this was the one for us.

However, we had an issue where the plugin would not complete the migration to our production environment. Very disappointed, we sent an email stating our issue and disappointment that we had to go with another plugin. BUT….. We heard back from support in less than (5) minutes! We were absolutely amazed at the quick response!

Needless to say, Pim provided us with a solution in her response. We followed her instructions and we were able to push out our first draft of our new corporate WP site in less than (3) minutes!

Can anyone recommend a plug-in that allows someone to hover over a thumbnail in a vertical gallery and have it bring up a full-size image to the left?

I’m designing a new website for a builder who wants me to model his portfolio section after this page on an architect’s site: https://www.jd-architect.com/woodneckbeach.html.

I’ve researched a number of plug-ins with hover or zoom ability, but can’t seem to find one that does exactly what he’s looking for. I don’t want to have to do a lot of custom coding – I’m sure there’s a plug-in out there that does this. Thanks!
