I recently launched my new website. However, I was not expecting a million issues. First, my website does not show properly at all anywhere except when I am logged. When I am not logged in, everything is beyond terrible and not what I set it to be. For background, I am using Elementor, Elementor Pro, and the free version of the Astra Theme.
Secondly, my product (Woocommerce is used for this) and blog thumbnails don’t show on mobile at all.
A few days ago the “add to cart” button and payment buttons were not working. I switched the PHP version from 8.1 to 7.4. Switching to 7.4 fixed those issues, but maybe it caused all these other major issues I am having.
Also, I have a lot of plugins, so maybe this has something to do with it. I have:
If at all, what plugins should I delete, and would it help with my website issues?
]]>I have deactivated, all the plugins and it still won’t work.
Please help,
I don’t wont to code this site by hand, I had rather use the template.
]]>Last night I was working on a site, I am not sure if I did something wrong while working with FTP or something, but suddenly my Bloom email opt-in plugin stopped working and the whole site sort of acted funny, menus were rearranged etc.
So I shut everything down and reopened it this morning, the menus on the website were more or less back to where I left off but my Bloom opt-in form< was still not working.
I went to the Bloom plugin to check my opt-in forms and though they were still there in the backend, the interface was all messed up, with menus from my website showing on the top of the plugin backend! So I thought I’d update the plugin, but when I tired, this is what showed up in a pop-up, along with the same menu items from my website on the top of the pop-up!
“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”
Additionally, on the WordPress Dashboard there is now additional space on top and if I try to update any plugin the menus form my website start showing up on top of the pop -up.
The theme I am using is Genesis Sample Child Theme. I am working with Chromium browser on Mac OS.
Some Plugins I am using are:
Bloom
CSS Hero
Elementor
Genesis Dambuster
Genesis Simple Edits
MyStickyMenu
Could any of these be causing problems? I am not sure how to progress from here, please help!
]]>– Home page is not showing

]]>When I click into ‘Edit Post’ the formatting of the blog posts is all messed up. I’m unable to edit my post because there is the toolbar that is displaying over top of my blog posts. I did update the theme as well as all other updates on WordPress.
I have also cleared the cache on my Safari as well as restarted and shut down my computer and logged out of WordPress.
Thanks! Appreciate any help you can give me.
]]>If you visit my homepage at freelancewriterinchicago.com, you’ll notice the “even” sections, the 2nd and 4th slides, are blank white and you can’t see anything. They’re supposed to be images whose backgrounds stay fixed as you scroll down the page.
One issue I’ve run into before is I have things happening on my PC that no one else sees. So it could be they’re working just fine, and I see it differently.
If that’s not the case, what do you think would be the fix?
FYI – not a programmer here. But can do most fixes with simple guidance.
Thanks for your help ahead of time,
Dan
]]>This morning we installed 2 updates via WordPress. Unfortunately, since we were tight on time, we neglected to see exactly which 2 updates it was.
However, as soon as both updates were made, our back-end of WordPress isn’t working. We can log in to our Admin account and see our Dashboard, plugins, etc., but we can’t open nor manage each. We attempt to post a new blog post and other such things, and once we click on each item, all we get is a blank space on our window (but with the Dashboard, plug ins and all those things on the left side of the window).
Can anyone please help? We have numerous blog posts to upload and are on deadline.
Thanks in advance.
Our e-mail is [email protected].
]]>I deactivated all plugins and refreshed the blog and the same problems still occurred. I also changed themes several times and the same issues no difference.
Problems I am Having
1. Content runs together
2. Category creator not working as some of the other tools in the toolbar
3. Widgets that come with the GDI blog theme are not showing in the right widget bar or box
4. The GDI theme background is not showing.
5. When I click links in Appearance, I sometimes just get blank pages
6. Some times I get 504 error messages
7. Again, these issues continue no matter which theme I use
I have not been able to use my blog nor update it with stuff for almost a week now. Can some one please help me with a diagnosis and fix for these issues, it will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Al Silva
