Using Jetpack without WordPress.com account

I’m struggling to get started with Jetpack on my self-hosted wordpress site. I’ve installed the Jetpack plugin and it looks like it’s correctly installed.

My goal is to use Jetpack to allow me to pull images into WP posts from my Google Photos account. But when I go to compose a post, and choose images, there is no reference to GP anywhere. Looking more closely at the Jetpack setup, it seems like it wants me to create a WP.com account. Since I’m self-hosted, I’ve avoided having a WP.com account, but it appears that some functionality in Jetpack is dependent on having a WP.com account.

What I can’t figure out is, do I need the WP.com account to enable GP image integration? I see a long list of features that are, and are not, dependent on the WP.com account but GP image integration is not listed for either.

My goal, initially, is to be able to use a desktop browser (chrome) to create a WP post, and then pull in images from my GP account.

We have a website for work and I decided to add a set of images through the back-end on our IIS server at wp-content/uploads/2023 and now the media library tab will not show any of my images. How do I fix this issue? I never used an FTP I did a drag and drop scenario.

Hello there, I am trying to access my media files in wordpress dashboard and its not showing anything out of 562 files except for pdf file. Also when i try to view in list view, I saw some notices like “Trying to get property ‘ID’ of non-object” and “Trying to access array offset on value of type null”. Can anyone help me to solve this problem?

Hi,

I’ve recently updated Yoast SEO to v15.8 and WordPress 5.6.1 and came across this issue. I’ve read the old thread from 2 years ago and troubleshoot for conflict. I can confirm that Yoast caused my media library to crash.

In product page some of(not all) products images ?not showing. I changed images but not works with new images. It may be cache problem. I am using wp rocket plugin. If i delete the plugin no good result. Please check and help me as soon as possible. Thank you
