Just like the title states – the website will not load at all and is stuck at a green screen (the loading transition screen) if I am logged into my WP admin account. However, if I try to go to the website without being logged in – it loads and works. I have tried different web browsers, and all of my plugins worked before – I did not add or update any plugins when this issue occured.
Please let me know what you think could be causing this issue.
]]>How do we verify the ReCaptcha on our wordpress login page?
Thank you all in advance for your generous help.
]]>I found a thread in this support section of www.remarpro.com which showed up in the results. I read the replies and they all seemed to be written by SuperGeek coders and were way to complicated for me.
I actually figured out a lot easier way to get it done so I thought I’d drop it in here for anyone who might be having similar frustrations with BlueHost trying to hold you hostage! (They’re not actually that bad.)
So, what to do;
1) Log into your BlueHost account as normal.
2) Log into your website via either the “WORDPRESS” button on the BlueHost Homepage:
– OR –
Through the “My Sites” tab and hovering over your website and clicking the “Log into WordPress” button.
3) Then when you are in the WordPress Dashboard for your website, hover your cursor over the “Howdy, {username}” message in the top right hand corner of the page which brings a drop down menu.
4) In the drop down menu click on the “Edit My Profile” selection.
5) Scrolling down that page there is a selection titled, “Account Management”, with a sub-heading, “New Password”, and a button, “Generate Password”. Click the “Generate Password”, button.
6) When you click the “Generate Password”, button…..BE CAREFUL NOT TO CONTINUE. You must copy the generated password and copy it somewhere for safekeeping.
7) Once you have copied that new password and recorded it somewhere safe for future reference, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the, “Update Profile”, button.
AND VIOLA! You can now log in through both BlueHost AND the WordPress Admin page (wp-admin).
]]>I was using the custom login url feature (and it was working great. amazing plugin, by the way!) but I needed to give acess to the dashboard to another person.
So, I’ve disabled it so he could acess using the “normal” /wp-admin.
(just add some posts. And he is a friend of mine. I’m 100% sure he didnt made anything “bad” to the site. I just change back to wp-admin to make things easier)
Now, that he did what he needed to do, I’ve enabled that feature again. Same url I was using before. Cleared cache with w3 total cache, and i thought I was good to go.
But now, when I acess to example.com/my-secret-url it shows me the login fields, but when I insert the user and password, it redirects me to /wp-admin (with the custom message “Not available.”)
So…I’m pretty much locked out. I’ve read some threads about people getting locked out, but any about the custom login url redirecting to wp-admin, after insert the user and password.
So, i’d like to know if someone has any specific advice for this specific case.
Thank you

What is happening here?! – I have checked my cookies and firewall etc.
I changed my password to my cpanel (not wordpress) yesterday and also upgraded wordpress (while i was in)
This is really frustrating.
