I tried creating a “home” page so i could use that and a different page for the blogs like folks reccomended, but couldn’t get the home page to show any blogs (summary or not)… So back to letting wordpress show the blog as the summary but just don’t want the full article posting.
So 1) I would like to know how one accesses the source files for their site if you are using a free wordpress one. Nowhere seems to tell me (and what to use to edit it). I don’t mind staring at code
2) Any idea how to fix this issue given the information above?
My site is: https://fishfoodandfun.wordpress.com/
Any help appreciated. I thought it was supposed to be pretty straightforward but apparently stumps even a computer science major!
Thanks!
I have a question about plugins on a wordpress hosted site.
How to I install and use a plugin, let’s say, the hearths.at plugin, on a wordpress hosted site?
Does anyone know?

The backup option offered by WordPress is only producing a tiny xml like text file. I believe I will not be able to restore my blog, pictures, and attachments in their entirety.
I wish I could enter the file system and zip up the entire root directory. I don’t have permission to do this. Can I ask WordPress to do this for me?
There are WordPress plugins that automate the backup process but I am not allowed to install plugins because my blog is WordPress-hosted, not self-hosted yet.
Am I in a Catch-22 now?

]]>As has happened to me before on WordPress-hosted blogs using free themes, sometimes the theme loads, sometimes it doesn’t. This morning, on my Mac, the theme is correctly formatting individual posts (eg this one) but not the homepage. As a result, I get a horrid view of my homepage in left aligned Times New Roman without any formating.
I’ve never tampered with the CSS (nor have I ponied up for extra paid options to do so). Is there anyway of getting the theme to load every time?
Many thanks for any tips.
]]>I’m running a wordpress.com hosted blog and I added a page called “Test” to test how the page feature works. Then I deleted the page, but the link to the page hasn’t disappeared from the blog:

How do I get rid of it?
]]>Hello,
Can I get some clarification from the www.remarpro.com site crew on a plugin policy?
The policy for www.remarpro.com hosting of plugins requires that the plugins ask for a site owner’s approval of any links back to the plugin developers site, i.e. “Powered by www (dot) somesite (dot) com”.
Does this policy include even the text? i.e. would the “Powered by www (dot) somesite (dot) com” be acceptable if it is only the text but no an actual link to the site?
Thanks
