My website version was in 6.2.2 and the error shows previously as
1. “PHP Fatal error: Cannot declare class WP_Metadata_Lazyloader, because the name is already in use in /home/karanfilasm/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-metadata-lazyloader.php on line 32” or

2. now currently as “PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wp_queue_comments_for_comment_meta_lazyload() (previously declared in /home/udbetunitedum3/public_html/wp-includes/comment.php:520) in /home/udbetunitedum3/public_html/wp-includes/deprecated.php on line 4659”

I have tried everything PHP version change, fresh plugin, theme, fresh htaccess, wp-config, but it got resolved after fresh wp core files update even with version 6.2.2 or 6.3. What’s the problem then? Even checked the class it said but there was no class defined in any of the files defined twice

Hi,

I’m facing the below error when I’m uploading the previous backup of my website.

Organising ‘page-[slug].php’ files into folders

Hi,

After working with many WordPress templates, I have decided to start a little project of my own and challenged myself to create a theme from scratch. In the interest of keeping my theme organised, I am keen to keep my files and folders tightly themed. Therefore, keep all css files within a css folder, all template files in a template folder and all js files in a js folder and so on. So far, I have managed to keep my files in order, with the exception of my ‘page’ files. I have created the following files and placed them in the ‘/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/[theme-name]’ directory, to which they are successful in serving their function:
– ‘page-about-us.php’
– ‘page-contact-us.php’

In the interest of keeping my files organised (Also, as I am new to PHP, I wanted themed folders, so that I could place a Note text file within each folder, explaining all relevant coding within the folder etc to act as a reminder, should I forget something in the future), I wanted to create a folder entitled ‘page’ and then place these files within said folder. Unfortunately, when I do this, the affected pages do not ‘pull’ the content from these pages and instead, reverts to the ‘index.php’ file. Does anyone know of a work around for this or is this something that just cannot be done at present?

Any help on this matter, would be greatly appreciated.

wordpress files missing automatically

I have a site on windows server with php version 5.4.23. From the day I updated PHP version, Some of wordpress files (e.g. wp-includes/default-constants.php, wp-settings.php etc.) got missed automatically after two or three days. I am not getting where is the problem. Any help will be appreciated.

WordPress Website Still Show IP address

I got hosting with a dedicated IP and designed the website on that dedicated IP e.g I designed https://50.118.64.57 in a bid to point my domain (initially running on another host) www.acegoals.com . I successfully got all my posts and attachments before pointing my domain to the host servers. Now the problem is all only my homepage shows www.acegoals.com on the browser but when I click on a post it shows the IP address instead e.g instead of https://www.acegoals.com/how-to-know-when-an-employer-reads-your-cv/ It gives https://50.118.64.57/how-to-know-when-an-employer-reads-your-cv/

Please should I still wait for propagation to complete or totally finish? Did I make a mistake when moving all my files? via wordpress? Should I contact my host or change the host A records or something? Please I need help because no ads shows on any link that has the IP address instead of the domain name. Thanks

WordPress Files Corrupted

Currently re-doing a site for a client. Built the whole site on my Mac using MAMP and just uploaded it to a separate part of their website to do some testing and tweaking before we replace the existing site. It was working fine but I went on yesterday and the whole site looked a little weird on my phone. I then logged into the Admin section and it looks the same, so I am guessing that some WordPress files got deleted or something. It’s strange because I didn’t change anything and I am the only person with access to the files. Any suggestions on what to try? Thanks!
