While the post is successfully submitted and appears in the Pending tab, it fails to register certain associated information such as Notes and an ACF custom field for an alternative headline. These remain blank while the taxonomies get saved just fine.
I temporarily implemented a workaround by adding a code snippet that deactivates Jetpack when the current user is an Author, Contributor, etc., which works, but it somehow causes the front-end to break when the same users view the site, so I’m thinking there must be a better fix for this issue. I have contacted my host to no avail.
Any input is appreciated.
]]>I am trying to log into the back end of my website , but very time I try and access the WP-Admin page I get a critical error.
I have tried deactivating all my plugins manually in PHP my Admin and through a WordPress management system on my host provider’s c-panel platform.
I have als tried renaming the Theme folders as was suggested elsewhere in t forum.
But I still can’t get it working …
The site itself works no problems .. but no login is possible
I included a screenshot of the error …
and the text I get is as follows:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wp_kses() in /home/meadowridgeafc/public_html/wp-content/db.php:28 Stack trace: #0 /home/meadowridgeafc/public_html/wp-includes/load.php(550): require_once() #1 /home/meadowridgeafc/public_html/wp-settings.php(124): require_wp_db() #2 /home/meadowridgeafc/public_html/wp-config.php(97): require_once(‘/home/meadowrid…’) #3 /home/meadowridgeafc/public_html/wp-load.php(50): require_once(‘/home/meadowrid…’) #4 /home/meadowridgeafc/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php(34): require_once(‘/home/meadowrid…’) #5 /home/meadowridgeafc/public_html/wp-admin/index.php(10): require_once(‘/home/meadowrid…’) #6 {main} thrown in /home/meadowridgeafc/public_html/wp-content/db.php on line 28
]]>When I check my client site I am getting a PHP error log which shows some errors.
My ecommerce site is using Woocommerce, Envira Gallery and quite a few other plugins for ecommerce site. Hosting had upgraded PHP from 7.4 to 8.2 and it caused an issue with the site on the gallery page, so we reverted it back to the original PHP 7.4, but it still shows issues on the gallery page.
Gallery page was working and stopped approx same time as PHP upgrade.
PHP Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /home/customer/www/website.com.au/public_html/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 3495
and this one
PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 805306368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 293239136 bytes)
There are still many other rows in the PHP error log just thought I would ask about these firstly.
If someone has some suggestions for me to look at would be great.
Thanks
Kristin

]]>When our client tries to publish a blog post using Firefox or DuckDuckGo on his site [Moderated: Redundant link removed] he gets a “link you followed has expired” error. The post could be empty — no text or images or have a reasonable amount of content. If he uses Chrome, it works fine. We turned on all of the logging in the wp-config.php page and asked him to save a new blog post. It didn’t trigger any errors. We’re stumped. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
