I am currently trying to fix the WordPress dashboard.
Yesterday we realised that the dashboard was completely broken, was not able to to access any pages, plugins, etc.
So we were able to find a way to reinstall wordpress, however we seem to be getting this error:
Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.remarpro.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in /var/www/clients/client1/web15/web/wp-includes/update.php on line 413

We are still currently only limited and are unable to add, remove, update or make any changes on the site.
Please can someone advise.
]]>I’ve found the folders in file manager, folders for both plugins that won’t install were present. Deleted them and tried again with the same result

Just tried deleting wordpress and reinstalling and now get above. Obviously made things worse
Website now shows but won’t update
Please assist, I know it’s a bit of a list, copied from messenger support but had no response apart from url request. I’m tearing my hair out
]]>So, I have tried re-installing WordPress in the root folder (using the GoDaddy WordPress App) and now everything seems to be broken;
– I can’t log in to edit the WordPress website
– When I go to the website live (via the website URL), I can see the website structure and content, but the template I was using is not visible and it is a white page with all the css styles broken and not working, only text links
I am obvoiusly worried that I have lost a lot of work, hopefully not. Maybe it is an easy fix, but I am not sure how to do it.
Hopefully somebody can help shed some light on this, as the business owner is really keen to launch the website and I am stuck trouble shooting (with little success).
Please help!
Thank you so much
]]>If you visit my homepage at freelancewriterinchicago.com, you’ll notice the “even” sections, the 2nd and 4th slides, are blank white and you can’t see anything. They’re supposed to be images whose backgrounds stay fixed as you scroll down the page.
One issue I’ve run into before is I have things happening on my PC that no one else sees. So it could be they’re working just fine, and I see it differently.
If that’s not the case, what do you think would be the fix?
FYI – not a programmer here. But can do most fixes with simple guidance.
Thanks for your help ahead of time,
Dan
]]>Essentially, the wordpress formatting and all those settings are just gone, including word counter and the lot. This makes is essentially impossible to use the functionality, and is really hindering our primarily news driven site!
Any help is extremely appreciated, and I am happy to reply with answers, if there are questions that need to be asked before it can be addressed.
Thanks so much!
If needed, our site is wow.stratics.com.
It effects all the stratics.com wordpress users.
I can access the admin and see all my pages.

Any help is appreciated.

]]>I’ve been desperately trying to restore the base install of WordPress but I am stuck in this weird no CSS version of my site. I’ve reset the database, thinking I’ve messed with some of the base CSS but that has done nothing but delete my data.
I can’t even identify what exactly is wrong. I’m running this site on Dreamhost and they won’t let me reinstall WordPress on a site that already is running it.

Thanks for the help!
